*note - borrowed the bottom bit

* Complete story experience with story missions, PvE modes, remastered maps

* Hero missions are highly replayable cooperative experiences

* All 31 heroes + more are getting upgraded looks to them.

* Multiple new heroes already confirmed, but won't be talking about yet.

* With Overwatch 2, they wanna redefine what a sequel means. For all Overwatch players, you will get to play on all of the same maps as Overwatch 2 players and same heroes. It's a shared multiplayer environment where no one gets left behind.

* All Overwatch progress matters, everything carries over to Overwatch 2

yeah maybe I'd give a damn if they didn't suck the PRC's dick

From what the people are saying, those with the original Overwatch will be upgraded with improved graphics, maps, characters, and game mode.

So really you have to see if the price is worth the upgrade for the PVE.

I don't want to necro thread, but I have been playing Overwatch for the past 2 days & it has been a blast. Match matching is broken, & I have 5 matches in a roll matching up against players with higher Levels overall by a large margin. But at least it rated individual base on your performance & I was doing okayish.

The funny thing is, I only wanted to play Overwatch because of Volant. Despite being almost a 4 years old game, Overwatch looks MUCH better than Volarant, & the heroes are so much better designed (opinion of course). I mean you (Volarant) make a hero shooter & your hero is a guy wearing a jacket, or random girl with an oxygen mask & Oh my god, white hair! Or an Asian girl wearing a traditional Cheongsam that you never saw anyone wearing IRL, just so you know she is Asian, and not mistaken her for Mexican or something, not to mention background graphics that look like it came out in 2008.

Overwatch has cartoony graphics but the visuals are stunning. Blizzard does have some of the best talents in the industry.

Okay, back to OW2. I hope they get rid of loot box. I heard they may add battlepass like design & I am okay with this if priced like other games $10-ish.
Campaign & PvE will be interesting. Highly unlikely, but it would be cool if there is 3rd person mode, at least in PvE

Excited for this. Can't wait to see how the new heroes feel. No release date or ETA so that's a bummer.

Been playing the crap out of the first one recently. Game is so good when you have a full team and can work together.

I mostly enjoyed my time when I played overwatch. But I never felt the urge to keep playing. Quite interesting. There is a lack of "Hook" for me.

I do look forward to OW2.

Played it casually before when it first came out, past year been playing it more heavily, trying to grind ranked comp mode and improve, pretty fun although there are some toxicity as expected in this game mode. Was able to get close to mid diamond rank in Tank, DPS roles and was one win away from grandmaster on support (my main).

Sounds like OW2 is still a ways away from release.

LOL I was about to say I was playing casually grinding my way to 25. Got ranked silver as a tank and a healer, probably bronze for damage. I'm not very good at the game, but I really like it and am getting better!

starseeker I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much if I didn't have a solid group of friends to play with. Not really a solo type game for me.

I had the exact same thing. I jump in and have fun. There's some depth to learn, and I'm actually pretty good at it compared to other games.

Yet I never last playing for more than a week or two. It isn't a bad game at all, but something just makes me lose interest.

lol, I've been grinding rank solo the whole time. I feel it helps me improve more with the RNG matchmaking.

Yep. I had a great time back in the day, maybe the first year it launched. That was about it for me.
