Overwatch

I own both the PS4 and PC versions...I Play the PC version in 4K@60fps....
The only difference I can notice is the draw distance is better on the PC and the PS4 has a dirtier look with more aliasing.
The PS4 seems improved over what it was in the beta and due to more chatting with Mics...(KB FTL) I enjoy the PS4 version more.

You know they have an Australian office, right? Are you aware of that?
Australia is 18 hours ahead. That would have made the publish date April 2nd, not March 31st.

Not when uploaded to the American timezone based YouTube. It was uploaded on April 1st in Australia. Which would have been March 31st here. Which still means it was an April Fools joke.

Then also have a European office, so...

Gamespot never owned up to it being an April fool's joke. So it doesn't matter that you keep trying to change his nationality every other second to fit your needs.

Why would they? Google never does. Plus, it's much more fun to see idiots like you get all bent out of shape about a simple April Fool's joke.

Actually Google apologized for the trouble they caused with the "drop mic" joke. This is the sixth time I've had to correct you. I think that is my limit for today.

That's not an admittance of an April Fool's day joke, that's an apology for a new feature gone wrong. At what point did they say it was an April Fool's day joke? It could have been a legitimately new feature they were adding to GMail.

I think I made a mistake not playing for a week. Not because of my own skill but I think I've been left behind from more competent players. Mother of god there are some dumb ass people playing this game. Also they need to fix Hanzo's hit box, and its obvious based on how many are playing the character now compared to when the game came out. Guy shoots the wall next to me and gets a head shot. k
I am sorry. I have not play, but I will aplogised in advance.

Bought it yesterday and got about four hours of total play in. So far, really good gameplay. Lots of variety and interesting action. I feel like each character takes a bit of practice to learn and discover their play style, but it makes for some fun experiences when you finally get good with them. It's missing certain nuances that a TF2 would have, but could come later, like custom sprays and more control over the skins of each character. It does enough to be really good and seperate itself from the pack. Good game, will play more.

One of the two up there needs to cool it and it surprisingly isn't the undertale fan.

Brothers playing this and he's already rank 54. Got family playing it, got all my friends playing it, and then I'm here, just not getting it. I'm not really buying into the hype with its gameplay, although it's definitely got character.
With its limited backstory, my first thought was how cool an overwatch character themed mod for xcom 2 would be. only a few like lucio wouldn't entirely fit due to weapon. but this is more of an xcom post now isnt it

I played against a level 70 something the other night. Like how? Also as a level 13 why am I being put into rooms of mostly 25-35 ranked people? I know rank doesn't mean skill or give unfair advantage in terms of weapons or skills but to be twice my level means they've put a serious amount of time into the game compared to me.

There may not be a lot of low ranked people (I'm one myself though, I think I am like 12 or something). What you don't want to do is drop you in a lobby with people from really far away that will cause terrible connections. Destiny did this and it was a mess.

Level means nothing at all. What really matters in this game is organized team vs randoms. Hopefully they are trying to balance that out more, because even a few people working together on one side makes the game very one sided.

I'm less concerned with matchmaking, and more with the play style of the gamers. It's very difficult to communicate teamwork in a game so teamplay driven. It's an early release, and I'll give Blizzard the benefit of the doubt that we'll see a ton of improvements and then some in the future. Just look at TF2 and WoW. Overwatch is not going to be a game that'll rest on it's laurels, not if they want the game to succeed.

There's that little fuzzy thing that comes with the console connected to a head-shaped stick that might work.

I get what you're saying but people could just use their mics. Why do gamers shut them off? I'm playing games all weekend and only heard one or two people on a mic.

Yeah, it's pretty hard to get people talking through text, let alone their mics. Blizzard needs to take a page out of Valve's book and allow community servers. Way more freedom and diversity.

The mic thing just puzzles me. I know some people are in party chat but not everyone.

Remember when having Xbox live with a mic was like the coolest thing ever?

It's super hard to convince people to change classes, despite the obvious need for it. Genji and Tracer classes blow for the final point, but people head straight into them without even flanking. Doesn't make sense.

I hate people like that, as switching classes and adjusting is huge in the game. Honestly if you aren't switching classes throughout the round, you better be winning big because if not you're doing it wrong.

I love flipping between Reinhardt and Dva. You keep rolling one character out there over and over and you'll get countered.

I'm getting used to the concept myself, which is odd, because I do it all the time in TF2.

It is tough to get used to at first. I started out learning Rein and got really good. However teams would counter so as soon as I start getting shut down I go Dva and the mobility catches them completely off guard. Then they switch to characters to counter than and it is back to Rein. I'm always the tank but I'm always shaking things up.

Think of the game like rock-paper-scissors. Certain classes destroy others really well.

Don't be the guy that says "I'm a really good X and that's all I play".

Yea I'm always changing. I almost always start off as Mercy unless someone else takes a healer. If the team isn't playing together and focusing on the goal then I'll switch it up. Office I usually go Soldier or Pharah. Defense I really struggle with as I don't find anyone I really enjoy. Sometimes I find those same offense characters I enjoy to be just as good on defense, especially Soldier since he can heal.

Yep, believe it or not, sometimes Mercy is just a bad choice. If your team is uncoordinated and basically running out in the open, you're going to get destroyed as Mercy. Better to switch to a damage dealer instead. If people are doing to die dumb, don't join them.

I love Mercy but I have like 20% higher win percentage with Lucio. I just have so much trouble winning games with her.

Mercy needs a good team using cover and not running in the open to be effective. Otherwise Mercy is an easy target for most classes. In order to use her ability to rush to teamamtes, your teammates have to be in better positions.

Mixing it up with classes. Mei is pretty OP I think. Not to say she can't be killed quickly and efficiently, but she's practically a tank at times. She plays like Zarya should in a way. Anyone try this weeks brawl? It's defense only classes. So hard to mount a good offense in that thing, but it's pretty fun for the most part. Two bastion's and bjorn's can make for an insane fortress. Also, Genji is so damn deadly in the right hands. People know how to use him.
