Hmmm..."PC gamers are arrogant twits who are convinced what they do is better than what anybody else can possibly do...."
But it is, isn't it. PC gamers get to game at the highest resolutions, with the highest frame rates. They get to pick and choose which they prefer, graphics or performance. They get a multitude of AA options. They get 3rd party software for tweaking things further. They get mods to improve the game in many different ways.
Plus, the PC platform is far more than a gaming platform. So you get all the other PC benefits, like video editing, picture editing, etc.
I have no clue why anybody thought a console that isn't doing native 4K would ever tempt hardcore PC gamers.
In that they both breathe oxygen and poop from time to time? I can't possibly convince myself to actually click on an article with such an overtly stupid premise. I'd add more, but I'm too busy working on "18 things Playstation gamers have in common with child molesters. Number 6 will really #BAIT# your #CLICK#!"
I think the issue is transferring their PC's superiority onto themselves being better because of it. Read any comment section on Youtube for a game, and it's pretty prevalent. Even for Console only games. Granted it's Youtube, but hardcore PC gamers are hardly your average joe.

The difference is console gamers realize we're all dogs. Even if we're kinda different we're all from the same kennel. PC gamers think they're like magical unicorns or something.
Saying pc gamers are mean because you read YouTube comments is a self-defeating statement. Also, pc sales are up this year again. Console gamers this generation have flung more poo at each other than any time I can remember. PC games have largely just observed from the sidelines.
I can remember console gamers saying 'Oh...well nobody cares about 4k' when PC gamers brought it up.
Now that the PS4 Pro can do limited 4K it is all of a sudden a godsend.
