Not the devs fault Nintendo haven't had a good Pokémon idea in about 15 years.
I still don’t get this, different studios make games in the same genre that are similar in a lot of ways all the time. What makes Nintendo so special only they can do it. They going to see Astro Bot for being as good as Mario.
Some game studios do patent certain mechanics, like ea with those two single player lord of the rings games, I forget what they and it’s called, but where you kill or a baddie kills you it’ll remeber said actions and climb ranks and such. And only those two games have them, it would be perfect for many other games. Like Batman or halo infinite, etc.
Nintendo just decided to copyright or patent their pokeballs lol recently, so it’s looking bad that they have to do such a thing, so late in the game, in order to sue them
