I'm fairly certain Nintendo's lawyer recently said "We're reviewing whether actions will be taken" and "Gaming Bible" just hacked up the actual statement and printed the out-of-context last for words for clicks.
I don't play Pokemon or Palworld, but you can't build a legal case on "We own cartoon animals being in videogames." Unless actual Pokemon are in this game, Nintendo doesn't have a case.

Only game that's doing better is counterstrike, it still has plenty more players than Dota 2 and about 3-4 more players than the next 2, BG3 and Helldivers 2, it's doing more than fine.
Just needs some end game updates etc.

It looks like a significant number of people has already dropped this. Probably when they come out of Early Access or add more content they may be coming back to the game . We stopped playing as much too. Might come back though and play through it slowly. Need to catch all the Pals.
I’ve seen some streamers say they’ve maxed out on a lot of things. But that was before the latest big update. I don’t think all the Pals are in the current game. And who knows how long before it’s official release. My nieces love it, they’re cousins, not so much

Dark and Darker, Tarkov, etc. plenty of these games get a surge, drop and then re surge when updates are made. It's early access and came out when there weren't too many new things to play. New updates should draw people back.
That’d be cool, but sounds like they want to make more smaller games. This seems like it’s growing into a scope they didn’t think could or would happen, like their last….which I think they still support. But who knows, they could hire a few others or get support from other devs (mainly Xbox engineers) as they have in the past
