Path of Exile coming to Xbox One

keep getting dropped back to the main menu. Game is good just want to experience more.

Got my beta code this morning. Downloading now.

Fired it up last after Titanfall to look at some of the character confit bed. Next minute it was 2 hours later. The game is a proper time sink. Hopefully you'll like it cos it looks even better in co op.

It seems ok from the little put in so far, think i am level 3 or 4 and just finishhed the mdecine chest quest.

They weren't mesing around with the skill tree, well calling it a tree doesn't do it justice, it is more like a small forest.

Definatly not liking the navigation aspects, though. The map is worthless and the waypoiint system isn't much help. HHoping you can change the mission arrow to another colour via the options.

It's a bit hard to use alright but I figured it out in the end. Press down on the D Pad to get a large overview of the map with your character as an icon on it, and you can use that to get around the map every easily and see where you haven't been yet.

The way point system isn't great. You go onto the World map and as you move over the areas, it shows you the missions active in that area.

Just cleared Act 1. The game has HUGE amount of content! The differences in your character once you get past level 10 are huge. I'm up at level 20 now and have focused on dual wielding & high DPS. I got an ability called Lacerate and it's epic! Each dual wield swing sends out cutting edges that slice through waves of enemies. Its great stuff, especially with the attack speed increases i've been working on.

yes!

I've played quite a lot of the PC version and you can get insanely fast attack speed.

I started as a Ranger and was checking out the skill forest and will be heading toward the crit hit chance branch.

Ranger did look interesting. What sub class do you have in mind? I certainly picked up some awesome bows. Player trading is disabled at the moment I believe.

Not entirely sure right now.

Loads of time before you have to decide anyway. I think it's Act 3 where you pick your sub class.

Unfortunately I won't be around tonight. Have to head into the city for some work stuff. I'll be back tomorrow though.

Is there are any way to increase inventory size? It is way too small and makes the loot asnd trading aspects rather tedious.

Speaking of trading, does trading certain things give you specific things?

I haven't see a way to make inventory bigger. I just leave everything behind before I go out on a mission and then I specifically look for items. There could be a way to make it bigger but I haven't seen it yet.

Yes, there is a specific trade / item reward feature. It gives some details on it in the hints.

Trying to figure out to max out my fireball bounce from 1 to 3.

Hell I am not sure if it can be upgraded or need to find another spell.

I beat what I assmme is the games take on a boss and it was pretty underwhelming to be honest.I would say my biggest issue with the game so far would have to be the lack of danger, Not once have I bbeen close to death. I just steam roll through everything.

Got myself to Act 2. Found my first Master.

Question: Is there a certain way to earn silver to buy prophecies? or is it totally random?

Oh! Also, I unlocked a jewel slot in the passive skill forest, any idea how to get a jewel for it...or know what they do?

I've died a few times in Act 2. There are different leagues (difficultly basically) that you can choose in play in but I'm not sure how you swap. It does get harder with co-op, so we should do some later.

I haven't found a way to buy or trade for silver but I've picked up nearly 20 pieces so far so its not too bad to find.

Jewel Slots need to be filled by Jewels. I've got one one as a reward from some mission in Act 2 but i'm no where near any in the skill forest.

Tried some co-op last night. Getting in the group was smooth and quick, and never had any issues at all for the entire session. So all good there.

The difficulty didn't seem to increase at all. The rewards given seemed spotty, sometimes you would get more and sometimes you wouldn't. Loot is shared. You don't seem to move as a group from one area to another.

Overall it was good.

It did seem to be starting to get more difficult at the end when we got to Act 3 but otherwise yes, I agree the difficulty didn't increase like it is meant to. Or if it did, it didn't increase enough. Overall though co op is a very smooth experience alright. I might have a scan of their beta forum later and see if there any reports on issues with co op difficulty.

Pretty sure the Act 3 spike is just normal. You said yourself you had a more difficult time in that act when Solo.

Plus, half the problem was due to them doing things they hadn't done before, atleast for me anyway. Like the statues giving back a portion of takden damage from lightning.

I don't see anything about co op difficulty bugs on the beta forum so I think it's probably a balancing thing. I see reports from 2012 when the game launched that it wasn't balanced for co op but it got sorted then. Weird it seems to be back now. The End Game apparently has no difficulty issues with co op though.

PC servers have been getting hammered since they released 3.0.

Yep. Been reading that. But then again, this is probably one of the best, of not thee best, isometric RPG games that has ever been released. The interest in it speaks highly of the quality of the game.

Yeah.

My disslike for F2P games is well known round here, and I have never liked these top down action RPGs(last played was Bastion) and yet for somereason I am enjoying the crap out of PoE. I have no idea why either, it isn't like it is innovative or anything.
