The Division 2 is free right now with select Ryzen CPUs.

Going to order my components tonight.

Got all my parts, now just waiting for the 970 Evo pro SSD to release. Should be here within the next two weeks.

Guys... I'm thinking of building/ buying a pc mainly for Mame to put in an arcade cabinet.
Been googling for relevant info, but can't say I'm finding much up to date.
90s to mid 2000 games or even later arcade titles.
Anyone having tips on specs and such?

get a Rasberry pi for that.

I have one setup with a cabinet with games that I want.

So I finally bought my mircophone. I got the Blue Yeti in grey. Its much bigger than I expected, standing at same height as a 1litre coke bottle. I got a foam windshield which is too overprice at 7€. I bought it over a pop filter as my room is very dusty (window is beside the main road) & it could double as a dust shield.

Yes, I know, I probably need some wire management.

Adding more pasteboard to my home studio is the Kanban board. Recently, we has a training in my company on Kanban work process methodology, & I think its amazing, so I adapted it to my workflow, & it has been great so far.

What is Kanban?
I just ordered finally a drawing display tablet yesterday and it should arrive tomorrow. I can't freaking wait!

What art programs do you use?

Clip art pro, Affinity Photo & Photoshop. Affinity Photo pretty much can replace Photoshop & have a one time cost, but I had already 1 year subscription paid for photoshop.

Yeah, but do they really emulate mid 2000 titles? Street fighter IV, Tekken 5 and games with second generation 3d graphics? I thought raspberries could handle emulating 2d fairly okay but that was it, maybe they've getting better?

OMG, I just got it now and it is bigger than what I thought it would be!

They said they will give me a paid version of open canvas 7 for free.

No they don't

I just picked up a 1440p 144hz monitor and wow. Can't believe it took me this long.

Can anyone recommend a decent mid-range headset and mic for PC? I can move my astros over from a console but it is kind of a pain.

Autodesk sketchbook is free and so far that one handles the drawing best. How much is Affinity Photo?

Never mind and the price is very good.

So what's the deal with this 1660?

I've been out of the loop and was just in my local computer store to buy a battery for a remote and next thing I know the salesman is talking to me about this nVidia 1660 they just got in, saying it outperforms the 2060 and thus my 1070ti that I just got a couple months ago and it's under $400 here (got my 1070ti for $500 which seemed like quite the deal at the time, in Canada)

So I'm looking into it now, and I'm not seeing a lot of great reviews or comparisons that paint a picture of this new card. I honestly don't care how good this card is as I've already bought in to the one I went with you know?

But I'm not seeing how this 1660 or 1660 ti stack up to either the 2070 or even the 1070ti that I got.

Anyone seen a good review out there that really compares this new, very odd (sort of) 1660 card with nVidias other offerings? This guy made me think for a second that nVidia had smartened up and actually offered something good for a fair price like it used to be.

I'm not seeing that really.
