Damn, This is a sleeper, I think! looks great. Funny, I glossed right over it as nothing during the MS conference. Apparently an Xbox console exclusive.

Its a timed exclusive because of early access although for that reason it might be exclusive for awhile.

Hope so. No reason for them to hold it back on Xbox One X. Phil and Ybarra need to lay the smackdown on some of these devs. When they said do what you want with the power they didn't mean be lazy with it. They should have an Xbox seal of quality like Nintendo had back in the day. Doesn't run at native 4K/60fps? Take that trash somewhere else.

That Nintendo seal ended up on some real garbage.
 
This game is very CPU bound, it very well may run at 30fps on One and One X.
 
I played this once on a friend's computer. It got really interesting with a shrinking map. It was so much fun. I can't wait for this game to come out on console. When they showed this at E3 I jumped off my couch, spilled my beer, cried a little cause of spilled beer, then proceeded to celebrate.

30fps on One S and 60fps on Xbox One X.....server parity for console of choice.
Is that confirmed? I don't think they would give them different framerates. The 30fps version would be a severe handicap against 60fps.

Really doubt that will happen, it will either be 30fps or 60fps on both consoles.

Yeah, think evo7 is spot on here. Probably not going to work that way. Most likely will be the same frame rate on both consoles, no matter what the game is to keep it balanced.

Not going to get double the framerate on a CPU bound game you are right. not with the CPU's in any of these consoles being what they are. You'll probably get a locked 30 fps on the One X and some dips on the One S. As it stands right now it's running at 30-40 fps on the One X

"We have a version running on the Xbox One X prototype in the office which can plug into the online servers. We were playing on live servers on the console at about 30 or 40 FPS. So it works on 100 man servers."

The PC version currently runs at 60fps, while also running at 4K resolution, but it requires powerful hardware to make it happen. Considering the Xbox One X is touting that it's the most powerful console ever made, it's a little surprising that the devs over at Bluehole can only get 30-40fps on the same 100 man servers as its PC counterpart.

Maybe they could do 720p 60fps on Xbox one/1080/60fps on X1X

I anticipate 30fps, honestly. The game isn't a twitch shooter, so it should be fine. It's also possible that the final game could get up there though. From what I understand, the PC version has bad optimization issues (memory leaks and such), which is why it struggles in the framerate department while not being mind-blowing graphically. It would be interesting if the console optimization can get it up there. It's not like it's throwing AI around or anything. It's still what amounts to an Indie game.

Developer has already got it going north of 40fps on a basic port.....

This is going to be huge on Xbox....huge huge huge.
.... It will sell in the millions on Xbox and will be a system seller

Ive been playing all night and... The game is janky on PC. If it were a movie, it would be Janko Unchained. It's Jankin Brockovich. The Shawjank Redemption. The Sound of Jankic. Batman vs Jankman. The girl with the jank tattoo. Milo and Jankis. The Jank wears Prada. The Lion Jank.

Honestly if the dev isn't good enough to get it going right on the PC without brute forcing it on powerful PC's I don't have much faith in them doing it with the power restrictions of a console, especially with having to use CPU's that are fairly underpowered at this stage of the game.
