PlayStation 5 spec leak..?

Bloodborne and Demon Souls were practically all Fromsoft with Japan studio overseeing the technical aspects. The next titles from Japan studio will be all internal developed games and will hopefully be far more ambitious than Knack, TLG and GR2.

100 Knacks drop into a zombified a city set in fuedal Japan where you hunt others and collect their power and wear skins as new armor sets, along with a stiching if their gamer tag on your skin. You can have that Sony, I’ll just take a 2% cut on royalties :)

I'll be ready for PS5 whenever they drop it. I still haven't gone 4k so my Pro is just for the extra power and the bump from it, but at some point by the time the PS5 launches I'll have made the jump. With Xbox going Play Anywhere I prefer PC, but I still plan on using an Xbox once in a while, so I'd probably not be up for the Xbox One X, but for Scarlett or whatever I'd probably be interested by then.

Looks like Sony is getting ready with new hires.

I think ya'll thinking 2019 are delusional. I expect it'll be a year after they announce, and does anyone expect an announcement this year?

A year after would kill current sales... So that's not happening.

They will show it and release it less than 6 months later.

If 2019...
E3 2019 reveal Fall 2019 release
Same for 2020 OR....

2019 PSX or VGA reveal then spring 2020 launch.

If not releasing till 2020 they could give off hints late this year or 2019 E3.

Another possibility could be a early announcement of forward compatibility/enhancements with PS4/PS5 plus BC with possibly every PlayStation console.

I see them going big with FC/BC with PS4/5 and them using it to help move PS5 and continue PS4 sales.

11.2 TF's
6 Core 12 threads
16 GB(14 usable)
VR hook up with HDR.
Old PSVR works but isn't compatible with the upcoming wireless box.
PS4 controllers work
BC with PS4
Vapor cooling
HDMI 2.1
4K UHDBR
Dolby Vision/HDR +

To be shown Feb 19 and launched Nov 19

So i been told and the pictures of the concept design are sexxxxy!

Yeah they aren't going to announce in a different year than they launch, the PS4 was announced and launched in 2013 and the Pro was announced and launched in 2016. Sony has said in the past that they want to announce things closer to release the same way companies like apple do, anyone thinking we are getting an announcement in 2019 for a 2020 release isn't thinking this through properly.

Matt over at resetera who actually worked for a 3rd party and has insider knowledge said 2019 was always the plan but that things can change, the only reason I can see them pushing it back is if the hardware isn't ready by 2019. We aren't going to get a change in form factor, price or a noticeable power difference in one year. They would be better off launching in 2019 while they are still the dominant brand and have a year on the market alone instead of waiting a year and letting their main competitor launch the same month as they do again.

Spring console releases are rare because it slows sales and they lose momentum over the summer. Most console launches happen late September to early November.

Ryzen?

anyome else getting the feeling that a lot of the bc games on ps5 will be a select few, with more added over time due to licensing issues. I’m hopping that most of 2018 and all of 2019 PS4 games will be bc due to new licensing terms to be forward compatible, at least all first party titles.

Anyways....

I think when people say launch they mean announcement these days, at least that happens with a lot of sites that cover mobile devices. If 2019 is the year it's coming out I'm sure they'll follow the PS4 schedule and announced in late winter/early spring for a fall release.

My hope is that they'll be able to work in 100% basic BC and even allow games to be patched to further take advantage of the hardware, I don't expect it but I HOPE for it lol
