PlayStation 6 And Portable, Digital Only and 1000+ USD?

Agreed. And I'll go 1 step further and say all those feature expectations are rooted in fan boy dreams not a fact based reality.A handheld device that can play PS5 and PS4 games natively? Beyond a ridiculous pipe dream. And native PS6 games? Now we're in fan fiction territory. The only way you're getting PS4-6 games on a portable will be through Cloud streaming.

PS3 is a definite cloud streaming only platform for the future

I still feel it’s too soon. Both Sony and MS have like over half their studios not releasing a new title this gen. It’s like last gen and they both just want out of this gen. Hopefully they plan it out better, have new models that use less materials over time with their refresh models and have those get redesigned innards too

However on a serious note it is very peculiar that AMD didn't mention PS6 at all. Delay or told by Sony to keep it low key? 🤔

Probably because Xbox and AMD have such a tight partnership.

Chilllll. I was bantering.

Well PlayStation and AMD are partnering to assist with Next Xbox upscaling tech and details. So they are no less tighter. Even moreso because it's providing for next gen graphics as a whole so no that doesn't make sense.

At this point its anyone's guess. Too many things at this point can go wrong and push the date back. Or it will be prohibitively expensive. I'm gonna guess whenever the PS6 or Next xbox launch, they're going to be at minimum $800 USD.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was disk-less and just under $1K USD. The add on sold separately blu-ray drive would push the final cost to over 1K. The digital to physical ratio has shifted so significantly that someone is going to have to rip the band aid off and do a completely disk-less sku eventually. My guess is Xbox as they're quite frankly the only ones out of the big 3 set up to accommodate it.
