PlayStation Games Are Inevitably Coming To PC, Says Sony - Sorry Not Sorry - UPDATE PlayStation PC Launcher

Or day and date PS5 and PS4.

Something they are doing is 100% coming to PC and it wasn't UC4. Wether it's TLoU2 or TLoU2:Factions remains to be seen. They were hiring programmers with CUDA, Vulkan and DX12 experience for TLoU2.

The MP only stuff better have a way to control the cheating that goes on with some PC players or that's going to lead to some bad press and ruined experiences.

It is likely the UC4 collection.

It's not. The job listing said The Last of Us 2.
Features from that version of the engine for the enhancements the UC4 collection will offer.

Article is almost 2 years old.
PS5 didn't even release yet so it also could be to get acquainted with similar PC tech.

Dude just admit you're blind and or didn't even attempt to read it, that is a pathetic answer and you make absolutely no sense.

Quoted a bit below from the story linked in the tweet since most people don't actually read anything more than headlines. It's not launching day one or likely even in the same year so that stupid "gotcha s***" is basically there for the simple minded. It will come to PC some day I'm sure, a year or two later and that doesn't bother me a bit. Day one yeah it would make me wonder why I invested in a console ecosystem but after a year? that's no problem.

First, it could simply be human error. Lee may have made some mistake and accidentally typed Ragnarok to follow God of War, as it’s a very simple continuance mistake. Secondly, however, it could be that Jetpack Interactive is handling a PC port of God of War: Ragnarok alongside or after God of War as well. For that, there’s a could of things worth noting. This doesn’t mean, for example, that God of War: Ragnarok releases day and date on PC, as rumors have alleged Bloodborne’s PC port is complete but has been held for a long time. This could be God of War: Ragnarok's fate too.

Sony has formed the ‘PlayStation PC’ label for its PC games push

playstation-pc-768x461.jpg

PlayStation has formed a new label specifically for its PC gaming operation, it’s emerged.

On Wednesday Steam users noticed that the platform holder’s PC releases had their publisher switched to ‘PlayStation PC LLC’, from the previous PlayStation Mobile label.

According to a Corporation Wiki listing, Sony Interactive Entertainment registered the PlayStation PC name in April this year via its California-based headquarters.

Although the name appears to be a formality, it represents another strong signal that Sony intends to increase its gaming output on the PC platform.

Sony’s first modern PC ports were Horizon Zero Dawn in August 2020 and Days Gone this May.

Looking ahead, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will also make the jump to PC in 2022 – “shortly after” they arrive for PS5, and God of War was announced as an upcoming PC port this month.

Another PlayStation title, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, may be coming to PC too, according to a listing spotted on Steam’s database this week.

In a corporate report published last summer, Sony first said it would explore bringing more PlayStation exclusives to PC, following Horizon Zero Dawn’s release on the platform.

I am so utterly shocked!! How could anyone with any business sense have seen this coming??
But they’ll never go mobile/cloud based I’m sure. 😂
