Please use a bad word filter

I was flagged for using naughty language in another thread. I have since edited that post, but am curious about the rules.

The general rules say no filter yet, but how do we know what words are really that bad? If we're going to flag people for posting words, can we please just filter them out? Or can we at least get a listing of words that will and will not be tolerated?

I'm thinking of just adding words to the filter to prevent any issues. Since most do view from work it may be for the best.

I would like no filter. Atleast until it get's a problem.

Filters allways go overboard after a while, when the bad-word database has grown big enough - and you need have to rephrase yourself if you use a word wich also a bad-word combo inside itself, even tough the meaning of that word is perfectly harmless.

If people want to use bad words all the time, it's better to see what kind of person you are dealing with, and let the mods give them a small temporal break, if they keep misbehaving, and don't follow normal netiquette instead of having a app moderate them. :-)

Is there an option for each person to turn it on or off? I say leave it up to people that take issue with it.
