Pokemon Go adds 7 billion to Nintendo's market value in 2 days

Haven't played it myself, but the game is a giant hit.

The NX is a Pokémon catching device confirmed.

See, all Nintendo had to do years ago is cater more of their software to the mobile crowd. Their types of cutesy games fit the medium well. And using the camera/GPS makes it unique.

Kind of gimmicky, as it's a one-off piece of software, but still something different and people see to like it.

The kinds of money they could make if they spread out their kinds of software to other platforms is huge. About time Nintendo. They are finally getting it.

Hmmm...

1) Take Nintendo IP/Game
2) Release it on multiple platforms that aren't tied to Nintendo hardware
3) ?????
4) Profit $$$

Nintendo should've gone third party a long time ago. Can you imagine if you could play a new Pokémon or Zelda on every device you own? Does anyone buy anything other than Nintendo published/developed games on Nintendo hardware?

Still interested in seeing what they do with NX.

I got my Snorlax, Psyduck and Slowpoke.. couldn't be happier.

This is all people are talking about on my Facebook feed. Here i thought i was getting too old for Pokemon when i was still playing Pokemon Ruby on GBA at 19 years old. It's crazy how Nintendo can create a phenomenon at the snap of their finger.

I hear that. I bought 100 shares about 5 months ago and have netted $1100 on that stock alone. Wish I had bought 10,000 shares now.

I only did about 35 shares cause it kept tanking. Then Pokemon Go comes out and doubles the value. I wonder if the NX will have an impact like this.

Shares have plummeted since Nintendo revealed they don't own the app so will get very little from it

That's a sad reflection on the market. The market should be rational and have already known that, but they don't.

I think it's weird that people are giving so much credit to Nintendo when it's the guy responsible for google friggin maps that made it. Good thing for Nintendo he likes Pokemon, I say.
