We haven't had a poll like this for a year, so I figured it was time for another. Here is the results of the last poll:

52 owned an X1
29 owned a PS4
15 owned a Wii U

Last time, it was impossible to tell who owned more than one console. I was curious about that, based on our discussion in the sales thread. So, I've tried to craft the answers to let us figure that out.

you totally read my mind man. I was getting ready to message you later on to suggest doing a poll like this just out of curiosity.

Yeah, it was that conversation we had that put the idea in my head. I got curious about how many people here owned two consoles.

I've owned a PS4 since near the start of the generation, and I just recently bought an X1. I plugged my X1 in yesterday. I haven't had much time with it yet, but I like it so far.

Stop saying both. There are 3 of them not 2.

Only TWO in my book. I would take a Wii though if someone gave it to me.

I have the trifecta. I was pleasantly surprised that Nintendo really stepped it up last fall. So many good games!

Own both but do my play my x1 more. That said I do love my ps4 and when bloodbourne comes then followed at some point by no mans sky I'll definitely be putting serious time into them.

X1 only.

I may buy a PS4 this year if some more games get announced that interest me.

Trifecta owner as well. Mostly spending time with X1 just because it's the newest. Otherwise I move around depending on the newest game.

Just a PS4 for now I may get a One in the future not sure. Part of me wants a Wii U too but I damn well know I'd not have time to play it.

One of the advantages of owning "both" consoles is that any bias you have tends to get attenuated. I never thought of myself as a particularly biased guy, but I know that, in subtle ways, being a one-console owner made me more loyal to that console, more inclined to support arguments in its favor, etc.

Having two consoles changes that -- or at least it did for me. I'm aware that some of the strongest advocates of a single platform own both, so clearly this doesn't apply to everyone. But I can just say that, since I bought my second console, I feel less of that subtle, almost unconscious bias, and I am less interested in which side "wins" a particular argument or contest.

My investment in that stuff was never very big to begin with, but I think that when you're a one-console owner, it's hard to avoid rooting for your team to win, at some level. It's easier to detach from that stuff, when you own both.

Owned the X1 , Wii U but sold them because liked the PS4 the most out of all 3 and I just don't have enough time to play all consoles. With PS4 having the variety and exclusives that cater to my taste, more friends on it and with more powerful hardware it was clearly the choice to make.

PS4 only now.

That makes sense. I hope you enjoy the PS4.

I've thought about selling the Wii U. But I'm gonna need dat new Zelda. I hope Nintendo has a lot to show at E3.

Anderson, even before you bought an X1, you were one of the least biased members here.
