Copy/Pasted from Gaf. I just raked in $20 bones ,myself.

If you do the Microsoft Rewards thing w/Bing your points are actually worth something decent today.

How do you know if you have points? Check the rewards website:
https://account.microsoft.com/rewards/dashboard

To turn those points into $$$:
  1. Go here: https://account.microsoft.com/reward...m/000400000015
  2. Redeem 1000 pts for a $10 MicrosoftStore.com promo code.
  3. Go to MicrosoftStore and buy a $10 Xbox Digital Gift card.
  4. Use promo code to bring price to $0.
  5. Check out.

You can redeem up to five promo codes per account, one per order.

So if you have 5000 points that's $50 in free Microsoft Money.

If you only have a handful of points, 500 = a $5 card.

Xbox cards are good on Groove Music, Windows Games and Xbox Games.

It says 'not available in my region'. You get rewards from using Bing?

I probably over the course of the past few years have gotten over $150 in XBucks from Bing Rewards/Microsoft Rewards.

Super sweet! I just got $50.00 with my points

My five redemptions are sitting in "Approved" status so I hope they go through and I can redeem them for the sweet XBux soon.

Not seeing an option to do this. Currently have just under 8,000 pts. I do not see an option to exchange them for MS store promo code though.

I've only got an email for one of.my 5.00. Anyone else still waiting on theirs? Odd that the 5.00 would show up and the 10.00 ones haven't

I'm still waiting on mine. The order was accepted but haven't gotten an email yet.

Yeah, I have no option to buy a $10 code for 1,000 points. I can get $5 off for 4,650.

So... you're full of it.

It was there earlier; way before I posted a response in here. I bought five $10 coupons and five $5 coupons, used that to buy giftcards of the same value.

Hell, I just read on another forum that the day before everything was all over the net that there wasn't a 5 per customer limit on the reward redemptions.

It works. Just have to follow the steps. Nervous and myself have done it all ready.
No sir, it doesn't. Only option I see is 3,500pts for a $5, or 7,000pts for a $10 card.

I'm over 24 hours in accepted status now, still waiting. I have had this recently off and on when I convert points into Xbux.

Click on the link earlier up - it's not the redemption for card, it's a discount to the MS store.

I got a feeling that MS realized that this was too good of a deal and killed the promotion. However a few got to redeem theirs and others like myself have a pending order that may sit in limbo or be outright cancelled. The rest are seeing a lesser promo.

Yeah, the link that was up there just redirects to the main redemption page now, and the discounts on the MS store are now essentially the same price as buying the XBux directly.

Day three now of order being 'approved' but not sent. I can't complain too much since I've already gotten like $125 in XBux from the rewards program, but this was a sweet deal that hopefully works out still.

This rubs me the wrong way as:

1. They ran out of digital codes?
2. Seemed unprepared for this promo

I still haven't gotten my email yet either. I'd be more irritated if it weren't both an obvious mistake on their part and if I hadn't already gotten a whole lot of value out of the program.
