I wouldn't even consider going all digitial even if I didn't have a pitiful 10GB per month data cap. No benefit at all other than not having to swap disks.

Really looking forward to the pause/resume feature and the 60fps remote play.

So there ARE still people here NOT fully digital? :)

when that s*** is cheaper then a disk copy I'll bite till then I got a bit of a mix right now. I'm all for both disks and retail but that DD pricing so far is f***ing BS on most things.

sometimes it's not bad. Exp Tomb Raider DD copy on PS4 was like $20 when still $40 in the store so I picked it up. Marvel logo was like $10 cheaper then the store so I got the DD copy. If price are cheaper then the other I can go DD or disks. All of it depends on price. I got the Lego Hobbit last week as it was like $15 I think on PSN.

I still go disc, able to trade in games to help get other games when i need to. i do have some digital games though like infamous and last of us. glad the big update is out, hope to try out the resume feature

I read recently that only 5% of Gamestop's purchases are digital; 95% are disc. Granted, that's just Gamestop, and it's just consoles, but still, I found it interesting.

screw going DD, I can't trade in or sell digital. I rarely go back and play games after a couple months either.

I buy digital on X1 just because of TV and it being my main apps console. Just easier to flip between stuff and not worry about disc. PS4 is still almost entirely disc.

Not sure why people who want to go digital would drive down to the store to get a digital card when they can just stay home and download it. It's the same thing. I figured Gamestop would be at 99% retail still.

I still buy digital cards for my Xbox. I do it for Best Buy Rewards mainly...

Ever since the 2.50 updated, my "WHATS NEW" icon that is displayed when you turn on the PS4 shows a loading circle under it all the time now instead of the feed that used to show up. Anyone else get that?

Edit: Must be more than just that. Now I am trying the Spotify icon they added, and nothing loads. I know the internet is working on it though because it updated my Bloodborne and I can see my friends online.

Edit: Fixed it. Had to do a RESTART from the power options menu.

Carry on :)

Yeah, mine seemed to slow down. Tell you the truth, I wish I could get rid of the What's New stuff all together. I like you guys, but I could care less about constant updates re. what you're playing. Give me game news or something like that.

Right after the update mine just said unable to show or something. Like the Xbox One, it seems like these consoles really need a good hard reset once in a while. Perhaps because of their always on modes? They truly are closer to PCs than previous gens in many ways.

Yup. Same thing happened to me when mine updated. Reset fixed it. Love how quick it boots up from standby/rest mode now . its like instant

So I think I must have misinterpreted the Spotify app. When people say "custom soundtracks", to me that means that music is/can be replaced in game, and/or the game will mute Spotify when it wants you to hear their music/sound, then enable Spotify automatically. I am playing PS4 games, and it is just the music playing over top of the game music. That is not custom or integrated to me. That worked good on the 360 last gen. Why are we not seeing that this gen? Or is there a setting I a missing (other than going into the game settings and disabling game music)?

From what I've heard, some games automatically replace the game's soundtrack with the Spotify music, but other games do not. So, it would depend on the game. With some games, you'll have to turn down the game's music manually.

Ah, so it is like before. Game by game basis, but supports it. That is great news. I know Bloodborne isn't supporting it (nor DriveClub), but those are the only two I have used it in.

I must say, the UI for Spotify on the PS4 is SLICK. I love it.

Tried Hohokum - interesting and amusing little game, but probably not for me. I prefer clear objectives.

Found out PS Now requires that you enter a credit card. I doubt I'm going to try PS Now, because of that. I don't like the idea of entering a credit card into the system. I always use codes.

p.s. Actually, I found out PS Now works with codes, as long as you pay for individual games, rather than the subscription. I'm renting Ratchet & Clank: Crack in Time right now. It runs and looks just fine to me. Occasional framerate slowdown (or lag, I suppose you'd call it), but nothing terrible.

Okay, i'm back and better than ever. The PS4 is my go to console and that's not changing anytime soon.

Moved the UI comparisons to another thread.

16 upcoming PS4 exclusives. About half are indies. They talk about the games as possibly coming in 2015, and apparently they didn't get the news about Uncharted. I'm sure others will slip to 2016. Anyway, though, it's an interesting list to look through, to see if there's anything you weren't aware of and that you might like. I found one.

Share Factory has been crashing a bit due to not be able to handle many long video clips being compiled and shortened. And it's not very good for editing compared to Windows Movie Maker. Less precise and no audio wave thing shown with the video. I like to sync up the music if i can.

I heard the Ratchet & Clank movie was delayed to 2016. Probably means the game will be, too.

p.s. April 26, 2016, to be exact.

2016 is now the year of the console gamer. 2015 never even happened.
