PS2 software emulation on PS4??

This should totally happen. The PS4 is practically a PC. So can the PCSX2 app be ported to PS4 and give us 1080p PS2 games?

Gaikai costs money for limitless maintenance. PS2/PS1 emulation requires limited maintenance. You also have to consider how many PS2s and PS1s Gaikai has to make the streaming for people.

Well my post was originally for sarcasm, however, why would Sony offer a emulation program that lets you play your PS1/2/3 games for free when they invested in a service where they can charge you a fee to play all those games again?
 
We just need someone to figure out how to create a Windows 8 App that'll emulate the PS2/PS1 and then play those games on the XB1. :crazy:
 
How about they just remake some PS2 games.....can never understand why this doesn't happen more.

Nintendo has done this well. Wind Waker is beautiful.

I would love to see, for example, God of War 1 with PS4 graphics. It could probably be pumped out pretty quickly.

Can't wait for my daughter to open up her christmas present so I can play Wind Walker..lol.
