I owned a PS4, Sold it for an Xbox One, sold that and bought a Wii U + PS3.

Wii U is great with the family, really having fun playing Mario with the Wife and Daughter. Still need that adult fix though when they go to sleep, hence the reason I bought the PS3. I currently own GTAV and
The Last Of US.

Truth be told I love GTAV and think it's the best game in a long time, not sure I like online play though....... The Last Of Us I played for a while but as of now I haven't really gotten into it, maybe it's not my kind of game or I just need to give it more time?

So this now brings me up to the PS4 which I just recently bought it through the Cowboom deal for $265. Not sure if I will sell it or keep it, or even possibly trade it in for an Xbox One.

Personally I think Battlefield , Call Of Duty, GTAV all run great on PS3 + online is Free. Yes they look better on PS4, but as of now imo not really that much, so this brings me ultimately to this question......

Is there any PS4 game that you feel is leaps and bounds above anything on PS3, or would you say PS4 still needs more time to fully develop its list of titles?

Thanks for any opinions, I'm mostly into Shooters,Sports + Action/Adventure titles.

Do you like any of Sony's 1st party games, or Dark Souls-like games like Bloodborne? Driveclub? LittleBigPlanet 3 is coming to PS3 and The Last of Us Remastered is the same game with better visuals.

If you don't care about PS4's better graphics or Driveclub you probably want to wait to 2015 with Bloodborne, The Order, Uncharted, etc.

The Crew, Evolve, and Asscreed Unity are PS4/XB1/PC only in 2014. Some AAA multiplats in 2015 will be PS4/Xbox One only like Witcher 3 and Batman.

Would you not be better off looking at PS4 titles yourself and determining the answer to your own question ? Considering your previous actions and indecision now to keep the PS4. I can only determine that there is nothing of note for you. I doubt the xbox one would yield greater success either.

I would suggest you just sell the PS4, buy stuff for your Wii U and PS3 and revisit the PS4 & X1 in 12-18 months.

First thing you should do is stop being so schizophrenic with buying consoles and trading them for other consoles, and then thinking about trading in those consoles, for a console you previously traded in. I don't understand the mentality. If it's that daunting of a decision for you, just get all three systems, and buy good games for them as they come out. I don't see the complication.

There's a ton of quality games (too many to list) available on the PS4 from big budget retail titles, fun downloadable adventures and free to play time sinks. If nothing has stood out to you by now then I say stick with the current platforms you have and wait. But as a gamer playing hopscotch from the PS4 to X1 I'm flooded with a lot of fun gaming content. My only problem is not having enough time to play.

I would wait until next year, if I were you. You have already owned, and then sold, the PS4. That means it didn't have enough in the present and near term for you to hold on to it. That's not going to change dramatically in a few months' time. Give it at least a year until you try again.

Well I think PS4 has a good number of good games. 2nd Son is f***ing great resogun is all types of win. I've really not played much on PS4 as of yet. Also man control that ADD you most have lost so much money treading in systems all the time.

I got my PS4 for free but if not for that I would have waited one more year at least before I got one. I'm cheap and don't want to pay more then $30 for a game I got thief, BF4, 2nd Son for $30 each.

I've played Marvel Logo. 2nd Son and resogun and find them all to be fun.

There's a lot of gaming content out there. In terms of must have titles, I'd guess the console exclusives out so far are KZ, Infamous, Transistor, Resogun, Trine 2. Coming out soon in the next few months are TLoU, LBP3, Drive Club and a bunch of other smaller titles. If those don't interest you, I'd wait until 2015.

If you like 3rd party games...the PS4 runs them the best.
It seems you don't know what you want though? Maybe try pc gaming?

Sounds like a GREAT option, I own an iMac 2012 Top of the Line model, just need Windows so I can run PC Games then. Mostly Battlefield, Witcher, GTA5 and hopefully Sports Games.

Also No I did not lose any money buying consoles......

I owned an Xbox 360 & Ps3 which I sold for a PS4, the PS4 was a straight up even trade for an Xbox One. The Xbox One I sold for like $460 which I then bought a Wii U and bran new PS3 off of Craigslist.

This PS4 that I just bought was for $265, I can easily sell it for $300-325 or trade it in for an Xbox One (Gamestop) with little to no money difference.

I though admit that I like playing on my couch, so not sure if gaming on my iMac would be cool.

I must say though the Family and I love the Wii U, great games and the system just feels so polished. Also PS3 is basically my Blu-ray player and I like renting/downloading movies when possible. + Daughter uses it for netflix, etc, etc....

Windows 7/8 would cost me about $100 new & I would need to buy a controller then PC Game so I can play it on my iMac.

Current iMac specs are

3.4 GHZ i7
24Gb Ram
2Gb Graphics Card ( NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB)
1Tb Fusion HD

I think I can run most games at least on medium settings which would naturally look better than PS4/Xbox One?

Thanks

I don't know, you say you like playing on your couch. You'll probably end up with the PS4/X1 again.

That makes absolutely no sense. You are going to sell a PS4 to set up your PC to play games at similar or perhaps worse visuals/performance than your PS4, which ultimately has all those games you listed and more. PC does not have many sports titles. It has FIFA and maybe NBA.

This post here and your original post do not add up.

I mentioned I liked Shooters, Action Adventure & Sports.

All shooters are covered under PC Gaming, so is the Action Adventure. The only knock would be sports like basketball and american football.

iMac has laptop components, but it's generally regarded as a desktop. Also I'm pretty sure my iMac can run games at PS4 level or better.

Simple videos like this is more than a Ps4 can currently do I believe

BF4 on iMac

Also Watchdogs on iMac

If you like sports it doesn't get much better than MLB 14 The Show on PS4. A definite "must have" for a sports fan, to answer your question.

Yes, looks real good. I think I will be keeping my PS4 (purchased for $265) and selling my PS3 + games to so I can buy some games for PS4. Even though I must admit I really liked Titanfall for Xbox One + Halo collection is coming soon + some other great titles. I guess eventually I'll end up buying an Xbox One as well.

Also to @VaLLiancE this iMac graphics for BF4 look much better than PS4, I owned a PS4 and know it didn't look that good, especially when running above 1080p. The iMac looks better than PS4. @Viktor I use my iMac for work + everything else, paid $2500 for it a year ago, runs all of my programs flawless. Specifically Final Cut Pro and Resolve which I use for work, being able to game on it even at PS4 quality levels or slightly better as of now is just a plus. Even still though Ive decided to keep my PS4 which will be arriving next week and selling my PS3.

Peace

Oh, I lost track of all your buying and selling. I didn't realize that you bought a second PS4 after selling the first.

If people were game genres, you would be a platformer. You spend all your time jumping from one platform to the next.

I see the ps4's future the brightest at the end of 2015+ so you have a while and a price drop left. You'll have a cheaper console + plus more games to choose from.
Don't get it yet, other than the "better" version of BF4(which I couldn't even tell the difference when I played it on xb1), its been a complete waste of cash for me personally. I'm looking forward to MGS, No Man's Sky, UC4 and whatever Guerilla has RPG wise, but the closest thing on that list is, what? MGS? lol, I could have waited easily.
I was looking forward to planetside 2, TLG, but I've almost lost interest waiting after the delays.

Honestly I don't see any must own titles that make either new system worth owning right now. I wish I would have just kept my PS3 and waited till 2015 to get one of the new consoles.

I don't think that either have a "must have" title yet in the general sense. But I personally had to have Dead Rising 3 and Forza 5 on X1.
I bought the PS4 also because I knew I would have it eventually and I bet on it having better multiplatform games, which it has had for the most part.

I would say that InFamous is a game that I'm glad to have a PS4 for. The Last of Us remaster and GTA 5 will be incredible as well.

PSN is a also kind of a must have experience imo. Sony has come a long way with their service and it continues to add so much value to the overall consoles experience.

Is there still a way to download Movies? I generally rent 1 or 2 movies a week and like to download them vs streaming. On PS4 when I owned one I didn't see this option, not sure if Xbox had this but I know I can do it on PS3. My Ps4 is coming early next week and hopefully they updated this option or I overlooked it?

@Andy My Wife just lets me be..... I honestly bought and sold the Xbox 360 3 times last gen and the PS3 about 3-4 times as well..... Strangely when I buy a Nintendo console I never sell it, the family always loves it..... I still own my older Wii which is time to sell since I own a Wii U.

PS3 just had some great exclusives, had to own one for Uncharted series plus Heavy Rain which I loved. Xbox 360 was for the shooters and Xbox Live. PS4 I bought it first, but was so disappointed with Killzone 4 I sold it, truly the worst fps I've played.... Bought an Xbox One and felt it had a better lineup with Forza, Dead Rising, Ryse, Titanfall and even Zumba for the wife...

I got real busy with work so decided to sell it and buy something for the family, I bought them a Wii U and they loved it. Even if we play an hour a day, we always do. Wife & daughter love it and when they can't past certain levels in Mario they tell me to do it. I needed a blu-ray player so I thought to myself, damn let me see if I can find a PS3 as I always liked the system. Bought a brand new PS3 GTAV edition for $200 and love it.

now after E3 I seen that GTAV will be coming to PS4, plus Watchdogs currently out and MLB Show + such a great deal ($265 for PS4) I'm now back....... Heck only a week ago I gave way some beta codes I had, what can I say I;m more of a dynamic person who constantly changes things. Even my cars I trade them in like every other year....
Peace
