PS4 demo kiosks coming

PS4 demo kiosks have begun arriving at retailers across North America, Sony has confirmed.
The initial units are being housed in Sony stores, with "thousands more" planned for other retail locations including GameStop, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart.
Sony has launched a PS4 kiosk locator tool that will help you locate the nearest kiosk to where you are.
The demo stations feature playable versions of Knack, Octodad: Dadliest Catch, FIFA 14, Contrast, Super Motherload, and Pinball Arcade.

Sony has confirmed a PS4 launch date of November 15 in US and November 29 in Europe and Latin America.
The platform holder has also confirmed a list of 15 PS4 launch games, promising that 33 retail games will be out by the end of December 2013.

Our gamestop said they are getting one in 2 weeks........seems like crappy demos if you asked me.
 
I guess I'd check out Knack to see if I'd want to get it. On the other hand I don't want to spoil that day one experience.
 
I went on the location tool...

One location in my area popped up, so I was pretty stoked.

Went to check the location. It is coming up as Soul Identity and is a freaking house. LOL That dude is going to get a lot of calls....

Are you sure it was an actual PS4 demo location? I just did a zip code search and it pulled up a place in my zip code on the map, but there were no actual PS4 demos within 100 miles. If you do a search for 90210, though, you'll see a couple of icons for Sony stores within a few miles (forget how many exactly).
 
the place that popped up on the locator was in a neighborhood I am familiar with. Unless Taco Bell is counting the pre-release people as demo stations, this is not one of them :)

I think it is a glitch personally, but we DO have a company here called Soul Identity... but it isn't where it is shown and they only do web hosting.

The point was that unless there's a blue playstation icon on the thing that popped up, it's not a demo location, just whatever the map decides to show you based on the location you entered.

yeah a little blue icon popped up, but it wasn't clickable. Just planted above this point of interest.

Eh, oh well, eventually it will come close ;)

NVM. Saw that you said it is a PS icon.. this is just a map callout I see.
 
according to the 'locator' there's a PS4 kiosk about 2 1/2 miles from my house at a place called 'Palmex California' now if I google said phrase I'm taken to the page of a distributer:

The place that came up on the locator, did it have a blue PS icon on it, or was it an "A" or another letter? The way the search was designed apparently was stupid - it pops up with tagged locations near you regardless of whether there's a PS4 demo kiosk or not. If you put in a search for 90210, you'll see the actual PS icon nearby there.
