A red DS4 is being released in the US 6/30.

Not my style, personally. I like the white one. I'm using the black one for now, though.

"The magma red Dual Shock 4 is finally coming to the US. This controller hit Europe back in late 2013 but has yet to be released in US stores.

"You’ll have to shop at GameStop to get it. You can pre-order the controller now for $64.99, $5 more than the standard Dual Shock 4. It will release on Jun 30th."

I like that red but i don't really care for mixing my controller colors, lol. The white DS4 is amazing.
 
my r1 and r2 buttons broke literally days outside of the 1 year warranty. luckily my purchase came with an extra year (yay for getting a good deal) so i just purchased a new controller then got reimbursed.
 
They need to seriously remove the screenshot icon from screenshots. There is no reason for it. It just makes you have to wait four seconds between every snapshot or suffer the consequences. I've been really eager for them to improve the screenshot feature. And the custom music and video features are still missing too despite their promises. They really need to step up the game.
 
LittleBigPlanet Dev's Tearaway Unfolded Gets PS4 Release Date + Versions get detailed

Studio assistant Jenny Lawrence said the game will be launching on September 8 in North America, September 9 across Europe, and on September 11 in the UK.

Multiple versions of Tearaway Unfolded have also been detailed.

Tearaway Unfolded Crafted Edition includes a shiny Gold Leaf and a shining Gold Stamp for your messenger. Also included in this version are exclusive God of War and Journey costumes.



Crafted Edition will also have eight custom decorations representing popular PlayStation properties eu such as Lemmings, Gravity Rush, No Man’s Sky, The Order: 1886, God of War, Infamous, The Last of Us, and Killzone.

The goodies keep on coming in Crafted Edition, with two papercraft plans for Sackboy and Baby Wendigo, and a Pig Crown. Finally, it will also have the original soundtrack for the

The Talos Principle is coming out 8/25, at least according to the article below. First-person puzzler by Croteam. It's priced at $49.99, which is too steep for me (I was expecting a $15 or $20 price tag). Cool box art, though.

Croteam and Devolver Digital’s first-person puzzler The Talos Principle is getting a retail release on PlayStation 4, according to new product listings from Amazon and GameFly.

Both websites list the game for an August 25 release. Amazon, given it’s the only website selling the game (versus lending out), prices the game at $49.99.

New PS4 model CUH-1200 announced. It will be shipping end of June in Japan and rest of the world later.

Some of the changes are:

8% less power consumption compared to previous model
10% lighter
HDD cover is same matte finish as the rest of the body

It's still same 500GB HDD and same price ($399 in the US)

Edit: The new model comes in black matte, too. Also,

"The system’s buttons for powering on or ejecting a disc are now mechanical, not electro-static.

"In addition to this, the LED light that illuminates the system when on or in stand by is now much shorter so it won’t light up the whole system. These are minor albeit it nice changes.

"The mechanical buttons are particularly welcomed for those have a habit of accidentally turning the system on when they aren’t trying to!"

I like dubs just because it means i don't have to speed read while watching all of the action at the same time. And also because the voices are just a little too high pitch.
 
I played a game on the Bestbuy kiosk that was a really neat little 2d action/adventure pllatformer called Chasm. But I can't find it on PSN as a download or demo.

Anyone know anything about this game?

I've never heard of it, but here's a brief vid and a link to the game site. They refer to it as "Metroidvania" style and say it's in development for PC and PS4.

Sony bringing ten "very different" games to PS4 this year

The PlayStation 4's first-party line-up might not be as busy as it could be, but Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida believes that the platform holder is making "creative and charming" games that compliment the more conservative titles coming from third-party publishers this year and beyond.

"When you just look at the big triple-A blockbuster titles, yes, we don't have many, but we are actually planning about ten games to release this year from now till the end of December," Yoshida-san told Gamereactor when we talked to him at E3.

"And many games are very, very creative and charming, games like Everybody's Gone to the Rapture or The Tomorrow Children or Until Dawn. Many, many interesting titles that are very different from any other big titles."

PSN down on a holiday weekend. What a shock, so glad we started paying so the service would be better.lol
