Anyone else surprised we still haven't heard if there is going to be a PSX event this year? Last year they announced it around E3 in June, we are well into August now and nothing. Makes me wonder if they are going to even do it this year.

I'd forgotten about that. There should also be TGS and PGW coming up, both of which Sony usually participate in.

TGS is Sept. 19th.

PGW is Oct. 19th.

When I search for PSX, I find the SE Asia version on August 18. I don't see any listings for the standard PSX.

I see from this article, which was published around E3, that the only conference they were willing to commit to at that time was TGS:

Probably keeping a low profile this year.

Yeah we are kind of late in the generation now and the biggest games still coming to PS4 for sure have already been announced and were already shown in depth at E3. I was hoping we'd see a little more of Ghost of Tsushima and TLOU2 this year but that's probably asking for too much.

PSX in Asia is 8/17 and 8/18. Here is the list of confirmed titles to be showcased. I'm pumped, because I'm really looking forward to seeing more of Ultra Space Battle Brawl Vathirian Arc: Hero School Story.*

Until Dawn for $6 is a no brainer if you have considered the game in the past.

PS4 game sale

A few examples (prices are about $5 lower than the ones listed below, if you're a PS+ member):

God of War $40
Ratchet & Clank $9
Horizon $16
Persona 5 $35
Uncharted 4 $12
Uncharted collection $10
Uncharted LL $15
Until Dawn $6
Witcher 3 $25

Anyone who doesn't have Until Dawn should pick it up, it nails that silly 80's horror movie vibe perfectly. At that price even if you don't like it you won't feel like you wasted your money.

Fully playable in VR or without. Demo is out in Australia now, everywhere else tomorrow.

4 new controller colors. I'm fine with standard black, but the first one (copper) looks kind of cool.

Hopefully all of the money from sales go towards the purchase of clothing for those ladies.

Those all look pretty gross to me lol, I bought the steel black controller a few months ago and really like it, otherwise I'd just stick with the standard black controller.

Get ready for Japan Studios new games fellas. I thought it would be announced at E3 but it's being announced in the pre-TGS event:

PS-LineUp-Tour_08-22-18.jpg

Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia will host "PlayStation LineUp Tour", an hour-long live show event that will host videos of the latest PlayStation 4 games, on September 10 at 18:30 JST at Tokyo Midtown, the companyannounced.
The event itself will be "set in a vast universe that represents the world of PlayStation" that invites viewers to "participate as members of a DualShock 4 spaceship's crew and travel across various planets" as they experience footage of the latest PlayStation 4 games.
PlayStation Plus members and standard Sony Entertainment Network account holders can apply-PlayStation Plus link, standard account link--to be one of 155 users chosen to attend the event. For everyone else, the event will be live streamed.
While not specifically stated, it seems likely that this is a new format for Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia's annual pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference. In 2017 and 2016, it was called "PlayStation Press Conference in Japan." The years before that, it was known as the "SCEJA Press Conference."

Did I miss something? I don't see anything there about Japan studio's new game being announced...
