Sony is still struggling to manufacture enough PS4s to meet demand in Europe.

“We haven’t yet caught up with the initial demand across Europe.” SCE UK MD Fergal Gara told TrustedReviews. “We are still dealing with the day one market. We are very close to being in a full supply situation, but we are not quite there yet.

“We may have lost some sales. There is no update on PS4 sales figures right now, but suffice to say it is still selling, and selling very well.”

The situation is apparently better in the UK, where the console remains mostly available, but other key territories are still falling short.

Added Gara: “We are in a bit better shape in the UK, but there are countries that are still selling out every last unit that drops into the market on a weekly basis. A good example at the moment would be Germany who had phenomenal sales figures last week, but they just haven’t had enough stock so far.”

That's good news.

I heard that they had gotten stocked up sufficiently in Germany, just a couple days ago, although that was anecdotal.

I think that now with Sony having a good start off in America they should start redirecting supplies to Europe and continue to saturate. It's crazy good how Sony made the turnaround coming into this new generation.

I must live in a different Germany then. or his info is outdated. LOL

Its true that from launch until about mid May, you just cannot find a single PS4 in sight. I asked once with a gamestop stuff sometime in April, when stock is coming, & he said, no idea.

However, since Mid May, on & off you see PS4. They sold out pretty quick. But since the past 2-3 weeks or so, I haven't seen any stock issue. Everywhere I go (that sell consoles), there are PS4.
