Slower? the GPU is faster, slightly less TF count and the SSD is faster and the memory set up is likely easier to work with, it's also the only one you've actually seen running next gen games on so far

the 399 digital PS5 looks better than Xbox Series S, as its still full capability at 100 more.

MM is on PS4 as well, & ff16 is on PC, so I guess no reason to get a next-gen console this Holiday.

Demon Souls looks amazing and next gen. If the game launches with the PS5 I might postpone building my new gaming PC till next year and get a PS5 instead. I played the hell out of DS on PS3 and one of the many that got to play it first (purchased from play-asia).

If Horizon comes out next year I don't think God of War will, they may be shooting for Holiday 2021 but I'm guessing 2022. The pricing is great and predictable, don't know why we had to wait so long for either company to announce pricing when many of us called these prices a long time ago lol.

Will be interesting to see how much people want a console without a disk. At $100 cheaper though, that's definitely an option.

Going all digital is tough though. I am mostly digital but still have a few games on disk. Just bought Dreams on sale physical (was only $20). Of course I guess I re-buy it and still save money.

Yeah the game of chicken both played with each other ended up being a bunch of nothing.

I doubt Horizon and God of War hit next year due to various economic, logistical and covid reasons. If both are not delayed, I can see Horizon actually shipping first.

Me too, GG has grown a lot and Horizon ZD game out in 2017 so they've had more time.

You know very well there has been a debate here about whether more PS games would be going to PC. At least they are being upfront about it now.

It was terrible, but better than the Xbox showing. I'm so disappointed with both of these consoles so far. $500 for the promise of good games sometime in the future and basically nothing but current gen games to play on both of them.

I think Japan Studio is involved in it and they're first party, so I don't imagine they'll release it to non-Sony consoles.
