When I got 3 preorders in....

Gamestop
Target
Walmart

Were the easiest spots.
Funny thing is Bestbuy and Amazon were my top choices and they have been giving people run arounds.

Obviously I haven't had any luck with PS Direct either. But I like the queue system where if you get in you're getting a PS5. Unlike Best Buy, Target or Walmart where I've had the console in my cart but was unable to complete purchase.

Ohh well, the hunt continues.

Yeah if it really is random, it probably gives us our best shot against bots.

What's hilarious is I don't even need one right now. Destiny 2's new season is really good and I have plenty of other games to play on PC and XSX, but the fact that they are so hard to get makes me want them more.

Target just e-mailed me trying to sell me baby clothes... I was trying to get a PS5, but whatever.

Apparently Best Buy had a little stock today but I couldn't be bothered. Never a fan of them and I can only imagine them selling me one only to go pick it up and it not being there.

Another Vintage stock in town has a PS5. I'm so tempted.
Its $250 over suggested retail. Plus you have to buy two games and an extra controller. A little over $1000.

I'm a bit worried of the talk that shortages will continue through 2021, wouldn't be surprised if scalpers just keep buying up all the stock.

I spent a few hours with the copy of NBA 2K21 that came with my PS5 bundle. The graphics and physics are incredible. It's pretty fun too, but I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing and I'm barely winning with all star teams against the worst present day teams I can find. The computer controlled team drains 3 after 3 after 3 on even the easiest difficulty setting.

I spent more time loading, updating, deleting, and trading in NBA 2K21 than I actually did playing it!!

It's a very solid sports game with truly next gen graphics and presentation , but the controls and mechanics are far beyond my ability or desire to learn. The first question the Gamestop employee asked me when I handled them 2K21, "Did you get one of our PS5 bundles?" Lolz.

The controls in these new sports games are terrible. Too animation and momentum based. I never feel like I'm in control of the player.

Are there not sliders you can adjust? I really appreciate sports games that have a lot of sliders you can play around with, some games just make certain aspects too fustrating on normal difficulty and no challenge on easy so I just play with the sliders till it feels just right.

I set everything to the easiest difficulty. I think I did see individual stats for adjustment beyond that, but I didn't mess with it. It was fun, but I could barely even grasp the basics. I honestly think one of the NBA Street games way back when may have been the last basketball game I played, so it's been ages. Not really a sport I've followed much since the '90's to be honest (the second game I played as the '90's All Stars, which was awesome). Since it came with my bundle and Gamestops in Utah won't take shrink wrapped / new games, I just tried it out a little before trading it in.

I had an old trade in card from 3 or 4 years ago that I assumed had like $2 to $7 on it, to my surprise it had $68 in credit! Between the game and card, grabbed $100 in Playstation store cards. I now have Demon's Souls, and I'm reliving my PS3 days.
