I played the whole thing I'm speaking from experience, the character models are average, the open area is basically dead with nothing going on, the trees look like that fake COD style stuff. I think Gears 4 looked better and had more impressive moments. Gears is always hyped as a graphical showcase based on it's 360 days, back then it was by far the best looking xbox exclusive, the jump to 60fps for single player with Gears 5 not only lowered the native res which is fine with me but the graphics were just fine not great. The best looking area was that indoor hangar style building.
I must confess I've only played it on my One X, I guess I can't argue with you if you played it on vanilla xbox one since I haven't seen it.... but I can argue with you on how it looks on the enhanced console, and you're wrong on EVERY one of those claims lol

Fake. They won't show the back. Probably from a 3D printer.

Japan Studio about the bring the HEAT (i hope...)
How they are working on DS.

One of Guerillas teams project.
New Killzone and Socom remake were rumored

Silent Hill and Castlevania reboot are also rumored.

BC enhanced PS4 games and demonstrations are likely.

More 3rd party exclusive stuff.
Probably Rockstar and Activision via COD.

They are assisting on Demon's Souls. They are definitely making something themselves. Probably Silent Hill.

Don't get your hopes too high on this. Instead, keep an open mind. I've been wanting to post this every since Mark Cerny's deep dive but the evidence had to make sense, so i waited.

Then Sony pulled the curtain back on the games for the PS5. Of course, i was still looking for that one thing. It's introduction caught my eye leading up to the actual PS5 games, and then this particular shot stuck out like a sore thumb:

So i waited until I gather more information before I brought it up, and streaming it via cloud is what i kept thinking about. Again, that is just a patent and this was just my own personal theory, and it could easily be wrong. But if I am right, they might be using Microsoft's Azure servers to push out PlayStation's legacy catelog.

Honestly, that makes a lot of sense for them. It's easier than backwards compatibility and if they do the work you could fire up your favorite PS1-3 games on your phone. Not sure that the Internet is ready for streaming current gen games, but offering their retro catalog in a Gamepass-style sub is a great value proposition.

So what we have with PS Now. Streaming and downloadable retro games. PS Now already has PS2, PS3 and PS4 games doing that. They also had been available to stream to your phone, TV, etc until Sony discontinued those devices.

Yes, but now it has a patent so all that underpants collecting in phase one paid off.

It was indeed Tencent who bought them. WB next?

I’d rather Tencent than MS. 4 Billion seems like a hell of a lot and I think MS would be better off opening more studio’s from scratch for a fraction of the asking price for WB games. If Tencent buys them, we’ll still get to play the games anyway regardless of platform.

It is alot. But Battman, Hitman, lego Games exclusive to the Xbox seems like a not to bad business move. Do WB still have the Lord of the Rings licence? If so, pop that over to Obsidian for A LOTR RPG.

I honestly don’t know exactly what kind of licensing is part of the deal. I just assume they’ve got to sell a hell of a lot of Gamepass subscriptions to recoup $4 Billion. As far as I’m concerned they’d be paying all that money just to keep it off other platforms. $4 billion for bragging rights seems a hell of a lot.

It isn't bragging rights, though. It is an addition of content and expansion of their game portfolio. Something they have to do to really sell gamepass.
