Of course, because Sony tends to do this all the time, it shouldn't be taken as 100% true until they announce it. Having said that, just because Sony isn't saying anything does not mean that they are unprepared or should be underestimated, and I will continue to stress that.

Did Kinect ever have any games for it? I refused to buy the X1 until they got rid of that thing, so I have no idea if it was for gaming or spying on people.
Yeah, there's a few fairly good games. Rares wii sports copy is actually great for party nights with friends and family. I got a usb-adapter for free with my One S and use it with my One X today.... still unsure if the xsx will support it though?

I don't have any friends, so it sounds like it wouldn't have been worth anything to me. I have no idea if the Kinect will work on their new console or not. You'll probably need an adapter for your adapter to use it.

Yeah, there's not one game I can think of that's even semi good for single playing.

Also, you have us my forum friend.

As Sony’s Marvel’s Avengers Spider-Man exclusivity continues to be hotly debated in the games industry, a number of known and trusted insiders have been asking players to brace themselves for more “shocking” deals.

When we shared Marvel’s Avengers “PlayStation Advantage” trailer with our readers yesterday, we mentioned previous comments by Kinda Funny’s Imran Khan, who said that Sony’s unannounced exclusivity deals are surprisingly huge.

Over the weekend, Khan added more context to his comments on ResetEra after another user, who goes by the name Matt, said that there are “a lot” of similar deals coming and their “scale will be shocking.” According to Khan, Sony will be using the “PlayStation Advantage” and “Console Exclusive” branding frequently going forward, and the company approached nearly all major third parties for various types of exclusivity deals. But wait, there’s more.

ony has reportedly offered more money for these deals than Microsoft was willing to offer, the mere idea of which has taken many by surprise because Microsoft has long been known as the company with healthy balance sheets.

Khan said:

"There isn’t a major third party out there Sony failed to approach asking what kind of deals they could work out. Some had content, some had games, some had content and games. It is not like Microsoft was not willing to offer, they just didn’t want to pay the asking price, because Sony approached with pretty high numbers in the first place.
That ‘PlayStation Advantage’ branding and ‘Console Exclusive’ wording are both going to get a lot of use in the next few years."

Sony are doing it because they know the industry and their rabid fan base will let them get away with it, depending on what games looks like I'll be getting a PS5 sooner then I thought.

I'm the opposite, what I've seen so far makes me not want one right away. Unless they have some sort of surprise games unannounced for launch, I'll not be getting either console anytime soon.

If only they did the same with everything else, their TVs are just getting past good into the great territory, their studio reference headset are still pretty epic tho.

Sony TV's have been great.
I think you are confusing Sony again with someone else bro.

Maybe, but I do recall they’re crts being hella great and then their flat screens going down in features, unless ya paid extra. But I’m just relaying what I was told through college. So they were great but maybe not always (or all their sets) like a rollercoaster.

ITT if Sony does something now that MS being doing for 7 years it's incredible and MS didn't invent it.
If MS does something Sony did before, MS is playing catchup.
Awaits the spin when Sony eventually gets a decent BC functionality and MS didn't invent that either.

Sony and Nintendo both had backwards compatible consoles before MS ever did.

There TV's have always been top of the line.
It took years for soso stores like Walmart to carry even lower prices Sony TV's.

The 2016 Z9D is still arguably the best made LED.

Samsung, Vizio and LG make rollercoaster TV's and products in general.

My Sony X900 is the reason I have no reason to upgrade just yet, the picture is just stellar, paid a lot more then my mates but the difference is definitely there compared to cheaper 4ks.

He bought one too, I would have but my order got canceled, I think they sold out...the price on it goes up and down (1.3-1.5k for the 65”) every so often so I may wait to get one later, again :p in store this time

My models a couple years old, KD-X9000E, got it with my X1X but I really like their full array backlight tech, heck even their new receivers look really solid next to the more expensive brands. I would upgrade but I keep buying new tools instead just because there's nothing wrong with the TV I have now.

I've learned my lesson with buying expensive TV sets. 3 different sets in a row all died just after the extended warranties I bought. I buy a cheaper model, it lasts a long time for some reason...

PlayStation Leaker Claims Forgotten PS2 and PS3 Series Is Being Revived as PS5 Game

A new leak claims that a forgotten PS2, PS3, and PSP series is being revived as a PS5 game. Back in June, Sony Interactive Entertainment and its various studios revealed a smattering of PS5 first-party exclusives, including Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. That said, Sony has plenty of unaccounted for teams and studios that haven't revealed what they are working on, including Guerrilla Games' second team.

We know Guerrilla Games is working on Horizon Forbidden West, but we also know it's now a two-game studio. And we know this other team is working on a multiplayer shooter based on job listings and some of the top-tier talent it recruited from the Rainbow Six Siege team. The question is: what is this team working on?

Well, it's possible it's working on a new Killzone game. After all, Sony and Guerrilla Games have gone back to Killzone a few times at this point. This is certainly one of the most likely options. The other more likely option is a SOCOM reboot, which has been rumored here and there.

Adding to these rumors is a brand new one from an anonymous leaker who has been on a roll lately. For example, they revealed the latest State of Play would be announced when it was, and word that it would feature no big PS5 news, including pricing information or hardware reveals. They also hinted at controversial third-party deals on PS5 before reports of such started to make the round and before Marvel's Avengers announced Spider-Man will be an exclusive hero on PlayStation platforms.

According to this leaker, a SOCOM game is in development for PS5, and it may even be launch or launch window game.

Unfortunately, this is all the leaker reveals. And for now, there's no way of validating it. That said, if the game has been in development for PS5 and if it's going to release anytime soon, we should hear about it sooner rather than later.

Like i said, Sony doesn't have a face to PlayStation like you would a mascot, and their catelog is vast.
