I hate gaming on PC. I love gaming on console.
I don't mind it, the only thing I would miss is the couch/TV experience.

PlayStation fans, A very limited number of PlayStation 5 console bundles will be available today - online only - and will go live soon. Be sure to clear your cart, get logged in and ready to go. If you're not able to get one, please know we'll continue to notify you when more consoles are available.
They seem to update the bundles each time, I'd dump it.Should I leave it in the cart? Or does it not even make a difference at all?
Dam it was a pretty nice bundle too. Spider-Man, two controllers and a $20 card.
After I got the confirmation email from Gamestop I went to bed feeling pretty good. Then I woke up a few hours later from a text from my bank's fraud alert system that the charge has been declined, haha. I was able to get the bank to allow the charge and now I'm just waiting for Gamestop to take my money. I really hope this doesn't screw things up but the bundle is still on my account so fingers crossed.
I never would have thought it would take this much time/effort to get a PS5, sheesh.
Same. Until the very end.Tried adding the Spider-Man bundle but just got an error each time.
My unit isn't set to arrive until next Friday, the week of waiting is going to be brutal. My order says preparing to ship. It definitely charged my credit card, but I won't believe it until it actually arrives.
Anyway, what's a good wired headset to buy for it? My old Astro stuff is all optical port and that's a no-go on next gen consoles for some reason.

Did you purchase any games with it? I got the Spidey bundle and even though its a game I already played (minus the DLC) I'm looking forward to the enhanced version.
I've been gaming on the XSX since it launched in Nov. and once I get the PS5 I plan to switch to that platform for a while. I really want to see how the dual-sense controller feels. If I like the demo that releases later today I think I'll go with the PS5 version of Outriders so long as there are no major differences between platforms.
I'd like to thank fellow forum member U2. If it wasn't for him alerting me to Gamestop's restock I would still be looking to purchase a PS5.
THANK YOU U2!!!!!
Wow, feel bad for those being let go. I think this is a mistake. I think making games for a wider audience is a good thing. But you can't discount the successes of games made for a specific market, in this case Japan. If you look you'll see many games made for the Japanese market that went on to find global success, franchises like Persona or Yakuza all have loyal followings outside the intended Asian market. But if this Studio as its been reported hasn't had a hit in a while then I can see it being closely watched when cost-cutting comes up. I just don't like to read about anyone losing their job......not ever but especially during this time we're living in.Sources: PlayStation is winding down Sony Japan Studio | VGC
Majority of development staff have been let go, but ASOBI Team remains…www.videogameschronicle.com
I've had mine for a week and a half, Gamestop still shows it's preparing to ship.My PS5 order is still "preparing to ship". Credit card charge is still "pending".
I'm totally expecting something to go horribly wrong.
Ok, that's funny.I've had mine for a week and a half, Gamestop still shows it's preparing to ship.
Gamestop shipped mine much earlier than I was expecting, maybe you'll luck out too.Ok, that's funny.
On my account over at Gamestop is has a countdown of days until it arrives. I'm curious as to why I have to wait until next Friday but it must be due to their shipping method. Like most I've been doing a lot of shopping online lately and noticed this pattern with many that don't give the option to choose a shipping method. I would happily pay extra for express shipping.
