Quantum Break, Dark Souls III, or The Division?

Trying to decide between these three which will be my next game purchase. I will probably get all three eventually, but all three look super appealing to me and they all come out relatively close to each other.

Quantum Break looks great, we all know this. It comes from one of my favorite developers (Alan Wake was one of my of favorite 360 titles), and seems to be really trying some new things. I wonder how much replay value it would hold, making it more of an option after a price drop.

The Division has always looked cool to me. I didn't participate in the betas but I have heard nothing but good things and it still looks cool to me. I guess the problem is having a regular party and trying to grind away. I do not play games too often anymore, or I can't dedicate a lot of time to games, so I feel like I might be kind of missing out on the intended experience if I can't dedicate a lot of time to the title.

Dark Souls III. I loved Bloodborne but could not really get into Dark Souls II. It was too slow for me. All videos that I have seen of DSIII suggest that the game is faster than its predecessors, putting it in the Bloodborne category. This is similar to The Division. The game probably takes 40-50 hours to complete and it is another one of those games that can get really frustrating if you don't dedicate some time to it. It is not much of a pick-up-and play game.

So, what do you guys think? Have any suggestions?

As a person who has both Ds3 and the division already Pre-Ordered digitally...
I say get DS3....it will likely be the most critically acclaimed as well.

QB will be short and lack MP... I am getting it down the road.

I am sure most here will tell you QB.

To me it's between QB and The Division.

QB appeals a lot because it also comes with Alan Wake which I've never played but am looking forward to.

The Division just looks awesome but I want to make sure it's got enough content.

I've never played any Dark Souls.

Like almost any single player shooter, I imagine replay value will be low. I think it will be an amazing experience though.

The good thing is, you can choose to play with AI in missions. The replay value for this will be far beyond that of the other two games you have mentioned.

Dark Souls 3 = Dark Souls 2/Dark Souls1/Bloodborne/Demon Souls. So while it is a solid game, it's just "another". In my opinion, based on your comments:

1. The Division
2. Quantum Break
3. Dark Souls 3

The Division. Quantum Break is single-player and you can pick it up any time. Dark Souls 3 could be a contender. You are mainly playing it single-player.

If you plan on playing Dark Souls 3 once and want to know all the secrets; you may want to wait to see what people find. Otherwise, getting in there early and figuring it out yourself may be the best way to approach it.

You could get both and play both. 2 very different game and there's nothing wrong with switching back and forth.

Ds3 comes with DS 1

I wonder why they don't include DS2? Is it too new?

While I think QB will be the better game overall, I would say go with The Division up front since it's multiplayer. Might as well get on it right from the get go. I'd love to get into the Souls games but just can't. It's not that they are overly hard, it's just the suspense of dying at any minute I guess lol. I have Bloodborne though so should probably try playing that again before giving Souls a try.

The real question is how much did you enjoy Bloodborne? If you say a bunch than know that DS3 has the same producer.
I didn't enjoy it, yet, cuz I suck at it. Like suck really bad at it. But I have a goal of getting good at it. I just need to finish up Last of Us, then I will move on to try Bloodborne again.

Don't expect DS3 to be anywhere as fast as Bloodborne. It won't be. So if that's something you're concerned about is say go with Division first and check out some feeds of DS3 to see if it's what you are looking.

I think The Division will give you the most bang for your buck but the game i'm looking forward to most is Quantum Break. I'll get Dark Souls 3 eventually. It seems like every time i finish a 100 hour RPG there's another one coming out. I'm glad Uncharted 4 got delayed another 2 weeks. The hell you trying to do to me devs. Kill my wallet and my sanity? Just stahp releasing games already.

I would go Division first too and then pick up QB and DS3 down the road. Dark Souls would be a game you pick up for an hour or too and try grind out a couple areas. Quantum Break looks cool but I'm not sure how long it will be or the replay value, it looks like you can play through it a couple times for a different story, wonder if they will have some kind of new game plus mode.

I love the atmosphere and environments, and the combat I thought was better than Souls being more attack focused.

Dark Souls 3. Not even a question. GoTF.

You get to play it with the rest of us discovering things before they are spoiled.

Speed of DS3 is closer to BB, there is a ring that grants life per enemy killed and there are now weapon arts. Probably the most attack focused Souls so far.
