I'd love for that to be true. I enjoyed QB, with the exception of that last boss fight.
Random people on twitter aren't real sources (he even says maybe its a rumor right after that anyway) but they are supposedly on the early stages of a third game so the timing does work with Microsoft opening up their wallet
But Quantum Break and not Alan Wake? I don't buy it. Alan Wake is the better game, the better selling game, and a game that actually has a fanbase asking for a sequel. Although Microsoft owns QB and not AW so that would play a factor.

Alan Wake and QB both were great games, just different genres. But I would think Microsoft is probably more keen to produce a sequel to their own IP versus someone else's though.
I still never got the hate for this game. For a first, it was damn good. I think Microsoft may be over tossing a game overboard because it didn't set the world on fire it's first outs. Its time to hang in there and build new franchises.

I thoroughly enjoyed the game. I even liked episodes in between.
I don't think there is much hate for it. Its a solid game and yeah it doesn't have to set sales records but plenty of first games do sell well so that is no excuse. When you look at the type of single player games that do sell well these days QB doesn't really fit. A sequel is a lock to bomb. I think Microsoft knows that and it won't ever happen.
Its gonna happen. Microsoft all ready stated that Recore and QB have long legs. It'll happen. I'll put $20on it if you're game.
The one I'm looking forward to is Ryse also. Too many slight mentions for there to be nothing.
Anything is possible but it would be disappointing. Alan Wake needs a sequel. QB 2 will bomb.
Either way whatever it is is just starting so we won't see it for years.

Yeah, like Yankee pointed out, he says in a later tweet "maybe it's just a rumor," so he appears to be f*cking around.
Very underrated game that still looks great and has effects still not matched by any other game.
I still haven't played it.
Might have to get on it before 2023 really kicks off.
