Question on downsampling

How far are you pushing it?
Sometimes if you go really you high, your monitor might not be able to keep up. It might not be the issue your having, but I rectified it by dropping the refresh rate. For instance I can force 4k on my laptop, but not at 60Hz, I had to drop it down to 30Hz. I don't have this issue on my actual monitor though.
Maybe try messing around with that, drop it down in increments until you get the desired results. Like 60, 59, 58...
Or it could be another issue entirely.
