On the page multiple times: "(We told you we’d be repeating ourselves a few times, but at least now hopefully you’re very aware of the fact that you’ll never have to pay real human money for Cheats.)"
Cheats are bought in game with fake in game money. Each time you kill some enemies you seem to find $200-$300.
As for weapon skins, there is a chance you may have to pay for the Cult of the Death God mission, since it is a FREE pre-order bonus for everyone who pre-orders the game from any retailer. I would guess it might cost something if you buy the game later, and never pre-ordered. That mission gets you the Settler Pistol and Raine Armor outfit. I think you get them for completing the mission and killing a bunch of Abadon Mutants who have those items. It is fun and free.
Yeah, after reading impressions it appears the gameplay is super fun, there's tons of side activities and hardly any story. 60fps hits most of the time on consoles but the graphics are pretty bad, I. E. dat Vaseline blur, pop in, and not as punchy/vivid as the previews made it out to be. Bethesda doesn't do HDR so that sucks as well.
Many reviews are pouring in at 8/10. It seems the universal consensus is that the shooting and combat is brilliant, amazing and some of the best of this console generation.
The cons seem to be that the storyline is short, and the open world is not as full of life as you would expect. You basically fight and kill hordes of enemies. Some reviews say it gets repetitive, but many say the shooting and combat is so wonderful you will never notice the lack of story.
So, if you want the story of the Mass Effect Trilogy, this might not be for you. If you want one of the greatest first person shooters ever made, you should love this.
I know now this should be my new favorite game of all time. I do not buy ID shooters for Shakespeare. All I have been thinking about is all the ways to kill King Squasha. I want to retrieve a Predator Tank into my garage and see if I can get ahead of the rolling convoy and I want to ram King Squasha head on if possible. That is a lot more fun than a series of plot twists.
I also do not believe at all Rage 2 is short. It is supposed to have 100 hours of gameplay from the people who built it. The main storyline is nothing compared to the overall content. There are races all over, many Arks to find. You have to go and talk to some people to get clues to Ark locations. You meet NPCs who need help, and you help them by slaughtering enemies who are harassing them. And the Challenges that are optional are coming each week for what appears to be half a year. If you want all vehicles and want to level up in every way, and see everything, there seems to be nothing short about Rage 2.
The reviews and impressions especially sucked the life from my hype levels. Nothing worse than an empty open world in my opinion.

So uh... This game is crack, lol...
Everything has so much weight and impact. I love how the dodge move sends small objects flying.
Yup, it's a ton of fun so far. Once I got into the open world I just set out finding arks to get weapons & abilities. World doesn't feel empty to me, run across small skirmishes and rival rigs regularly. The abilities and combat so far are a blast!
Wow some of those replies... are gamers really super p***** these days?
