If you were to go the PC route, you would probably want to build one that would outperform a console.

Not necessary . Pc is not just for gaming. Some people want some other stuff , and caapabale or gaming, at reasonable price.

I myself is looking die a laptop capable of playing most AAA games when I am on the road , but my main purpose is for internet and using production tools like video editing, writing, composing pictures.

I don’t need it requires it to be better than console . I have a desktop pc at home for that.

My rtx 3060, Ryzen 5800H Lenovo legion laptop that I bought 2 years ago was 1K and was perfect, still does a great job today on the road when I need it to. I'm assuming 1K laptops nowadays are even more awesome.

But so many of PlayStations games are lead by females, from the last of us to horizon, and even some of their timed exclusives have leading ladies.
