Pro tip. I've discovered that if you don't have another friend to play the game with, you can pick a Sloop with play-type locked. Then pick your quest, gear-up and next open the play type on your way to your first mission. You will only get 1 other teammate on the sloop, which is enough for steering and canons if you choose to battle. It sinks slower, and if goes faster up-wind, if you don't want to engage. If they leave, you can still manage the ship alone. You can open or close the play-type at will!I liked the game and I love the look of it but I can't stand some people that play it. For example, if I'm with a crew and we have a galleon I usually dont mess with people who are on a single boat as I think they are just trying the game out and want to be left alone or trying to find treasure. That's what I'm doing when I'm by myself but I always run into a******s. It's hard enough dealing with ghost ships, a kraken or a megladon. Or if I join a crew only to be thrown in the brig for no reason so I'm like screw this.
