Yup that's him. Watch out for the lickers too. When you encounter Mr. X, more lickers come out to play. So far I've died 3 times trying to reach a safety point to save my progress, but these damn lickers get me every time. I have no choice, but to run into them because Mr X is on my ass. It doesn't help that I am out of ammo and first aid.
Yeah I've noticed that. The game just keeps notching up the intensity for sure. I was in main hall putting stuff in that storage container and as soon as I backed out I heard the music. Sure enough there he was on top of stairs making a bee line straight for me.

I had to step away for a bit and catch my breath. Lol

I finally got to where I wanted to be and saved the game. Health is at best and I have a decent supply of ammo. I've been ignoring a simple tip I've should have adhere to from the getgo. WALK. If you walk, you make less noise thus attracting less attention. Only run when you have to to survive. There was one room where I would run to and before I could enter, zombies would come rushing out. I tried a different approach by walking instead of running needlessly. The zombies didn't come rushing out. I entered the room and found them wandering around. I think it's cool that running/walking makes a difference in the game.

Man i forgot how tense the ending is. I just finished Leon's story and I'm going to jump right into Claire's 2nd run.

Going through my first play through and a little stuck. I’m not a person to look up guides though, I would rather just quit playing lol. Really enjoying the gameplay though! My only annoyance is getting hit from behind a few times already, had no idea where the zombies could have come from or how I could have avoided them so feels cheap.

Love the game and don’t regret purchasing (it was a gift actually), but I may trade it in and wait for a cheap digital price. I’m just not hooked by the gameplay, as I keep going a few days between play sessions.

I am glad it is selling. This means R3 Remake is coming.
I wonder if they were already working on it. I hope so cause they announced RE2 remake back in 2015. If they haven't started yet then we might not see RE3 for awhile.

Beat Leon A today finally after getting this at launch. Never played the original but this was amazing. Gonna go back and play the other three variations.

With the positive reception of this game (and the now confirmed RE3 remake) I hope they remake all the old fixed camera RE games.

I played about 2 hours last night starting with Leon. The game does feel old school. The aiming seems to be purposely made harder to compensate the slow zombies.

I then had a dream where Mr X was chasing me & Claire in a mansion.
