Game looks awesome and is on my must play/maybe buy list....oh and the other game was The Last Night and is still alive and kicking but they are taking their sweet time. Makes you wonder with some of these indies that take forever...how do they pay their staff? Not sure who is publishing it but man this is 4 years since the reveal so it probably was another year at least prior to that. Really hoping that game comes out in the latter part of next year. In the meantime, I'll be replacing it with Replaced.
I like the art style merge 2D art (not a big fan of pixel art, prefer non pixelated 2D though) & 3D
I don't normally like pixel art either, but this one looks awesome to me. It's a legit style here.
I love me some good pixel art. Also love clean 2D but as an old skool gamer, really good pixel art still captures me. The gameplay obviously needs to be on point also and this looks the part.

GIMMIE! Seriously, this one and The Last Night are games I've been looking forward to forever.
That trailer still gets me...love the music as well. At least this has a release window that I can look forward to.
This games stylistic cousin, The Last Night, seems to be in development limbo...I only say this as it's been an entire year since any update from the twitter account. Hopefully, they are still actively working on it and planning a release but not holding my breath. A sequel to a "similar" game and probably somewhat of an inspiration for this is supposedly releasing this year...Flashback 2. So, there's potentially some good futuristic side-scrolling shooter action to be had in the coming months

Well...I still have hope but with Tunic it was literally a single developer for much of the time (though I think he got help after a certain point). Not sure of the size of the dev team on The Last Night but yah, if really small (5 guys or less), definitely wouldn't be surprised at the timing.
It is their first game tho…might be quite the undertaking
