Looks like their take on Ghost of Tsushima similar to how Nioh is to Souls games. Looks good.

Looks interesting, some of it looks dated visually though.

Ohh yeah, sign me up for this.

I remember reading how a few Japanese Dev Houses felt a bit slighted by the fact the Ghost of Tsushima was developed by a Western Studio. They had nothing but praise for Sucker Punch but felt they should have made a game like that well before the excellent Samurai epic came out to tell the story of the now legendary Jin Sakai.

Now is their chance to put their money where their mouth is. You just know the sword play is going to be top notch and super fun coming from Team Ninja. I just hope they can put it all together with a great story and all the little things that add up to make a great RPG.

May buy this game, mainly for the story….looks great, something about the lighting bugs me, I’m ok with the sepia vignettes, but the color tempts changing seems a lil out of place. I forget what movie did this, think they did it to tell different stories, not as a whole, but just the world it took place in.

Yeah, this one's got my attention for sure, could be fun.

The Snitch leaked some details:

Game is a mix of Assassin’s Creed, Ghost of Tsushima, and Dark Souls
Many item descriptions are used to make the lore bigger and better (E.G: "(...)It was produced in the craftsmanship style associated with a renowned blacksmith named Okisato Nagasone, who lived in Musashi during the 17th century and was also known as Kotetsu.(...)")
Numerous side-quests that are more like Ubisoft side-quest designs
Difficulty options
Skill and technique trees
Performance and quality modes (trying to improve fidelity before launch)
Planned romance options
Planned Q1 2024

Anyone else craving chicken katsu, no, just me?

It was just discovered that a recent playtest took place in London – assumedly for PlayStation UK – that involved a game for ‘Soulsborne fans’, but nobody has any clue what that game could have been. In the examples provided on the now-closed listing, games like Elden Ring, Bloodborne, Wo Long, and Dark Souls were all referenced.

This four-day playtest (for which the testers would receive £500 – not a bad rate!) was taking place in Oxford Circus in Central London, and it ran from the 10th to the 13th of October. Now, gamers who have picked up on the news have started wondering exactly what game was being tested.

What Could It Have Been?

In social circles and forum conversations – such as those found on Resetera – the consensus is that the game that was tested was Rise of Ronin, an upcoming action RPG being developed by Team Ninja that’s expected to release on the PlayStation 5 next year. If it were to be launched in the first few months of 2024, it makes sense that playtests would be taking place around now.

Otherwise, there are suspicions that it could be Bluepoint’s new game that was announced as being in development back in January. In the past, Bluepoint has done some work on Demon’s Souls and Shadow of the Colossus, so that shoe fits quite nicely.

It could also be something totally unexpected – like Bloodborne 2. Who knows?

Not a terribly impressive trailer. Was hyped for this one but looked kinda rough?

Team Ninja though, all about the gameplay. Sure it’ll be fire.
