Funny, knowing how big the modding community is for GTA: San Andreas. It practically became an MMO on the scale of "Second Life."

Yeah I read about this the other day while I was browsing the Steam forums. People are pretty pissed to put it lightly.
I never modded a GTA game so I really could care less.

Rockstar is pissed that the paid mods deal didn't work out. Can you imagine how much Rockstar could make even with a small cut out of paid mods? They probably already made their PC port profit, so they could care less.

Bump for Black Friday. I'm thinking of getting GTA 5 on sale for PC.

I wondered if anyone heard more about this? My understanding is the main Mod system is supposed to Firewall off your internet connection when it's turned on so there is no way GTA 5 will try to reach out to the Social Club.

I did hear that someone created a limited Private Lan Mod and those guys got banned because it connected to Rockstar.

I'm kicking around the idea of running mods and putting the craziness on a YouTube channel. People love game mod vids.
