It ain’t big but it gets the job done.

That is a line uttered by Trevor Phillips, resident psychopath meth head in Grand Theft Auto V, which was easily one of the biggest games to launch this year. If you were like many of gamers out there, you traded or sold your PS3 or Xbox360 to bankroll your entrance into the Next Gen console of your choice , thus causing you to miss out on the massive epic that is GTAV.

Well have no fear, because Lazlow from Rockstar Games spoke during an interview on Opie & Anthony’s SiriusXM program revealing in not so many words that they are indeed working on Next Gen ports of GTAV. He doesn’t come out and say it, but use your detective skills & read between the lines…. What you are going to hear “Ain’t big, but it gets the job done”….

I was buying this port anyways, but still it would be great if this includes the previously announced campaign expansion.
 
Super huge collection of GTA series would've be nice for next-gen. ;) This is good news if the players like to play GTAV on PS4/X-One. Betcha it'll going to be another millions-seller.
 
Oh yeah! This was something I was waiting to hear. Any hint of GTAV coming to the new systems coming from someone on the inside pretty much confirms it.

Lets do this!
 
Hm, need to wait and hear more info before double dip. How large the difference is and if there is any extra campaign will play a factor in my decision.
 
Maybe I'll get it for the first time on X1.

With how crap R* port GTA on PC I wouldn't Hold too much hope for something vastly superior.
 
How was the multiplayer in this game? I played it for about 20 minutes and wasn't floored with it. Didn't particularly enjoy the lock on targeting.

That's good. I might wait until next gen to play it, especially if the improvements are significant.
 
R* should just remove the pile of crap the online was and expand the single player.
 
That would be awesome to see GTA5 on next-gen, especially if they used MS's servers to make the multiplayer 32 instead of 16. That would be a nice selling point for Microsoft. GTA5 was going to be 32 originally they said, but the 360 could handle it with only 512 megs of RAM.
 
So was this actually a confirmation of next-gen (PC) or just new-gen (XB1/PS4)?
 
If you traded your 360 or PS3 in to get a next gen console and missed out on GTA V you did it wrong. It doesn't surprise me they're porting the game to the One and PS4 though. Rockstar is in the business of making money.
 
I hope they do port it, it could be another 5 years before they get another game ready. I'll buy it for PS4 if it's released.
 
I already own it but I'm done with the 360. Will definitely pick up x1 version though because I still want to play gta online.
 
Will wait for it on steam sale, just like I still have gta 4 unplayed in my steam backlog. :p
