Awesome!

I think that depends on if people get sick of waiting for a PS4 because they can't find one and start buying up the Xbox One. If it's not on the shelves, gamers are going to go elsewhere. This isn't the same case as the Wii when Nintendo was purposely not meeting demand to spark interest. Because the Wii was going to sell to the casuals and core gamers no matter what at that price. Hardcore gamers aren't going to wait around for Sony to start stocking shelves. They'll just pick up an X1 once they see the superior games coming out.

PS4's are much more difficult to find and it outsold the X1 by 1.2 million in a little over a month anyways.

Titanfall will have about a 7 month head start. Halo is the only console exclusive that I could see come close but I think Titanfall will edge it out . Second Son I see ending up third.

Thats true, I see Halo selling a lot of Ones though.

nahhh just keep a eye on these numbers and now that the big game TF has a dated player count...the trend will continue.

I don't think the player count is going to hurt TF if it's a lot of fun, what will hurt it on xbox one is that it's also going to be available on PC and 360 so it'll be hard to justify spending $500 on a new console for one game when you'll have other options for playing it. I don't think any one game is going to move many $500 machines to be honest, that price point is going to be a huge obstacle once the hardcore buyers have all gotten one even if some people don't want to admit it.

It's really tough for any new IP to be a top seller up against tried and true IPs. I suspect that even with less months out on the market, Halo will pounce all over TF within the first week I imagine. People are putting a lot of faith in TF, and the funny thing is, no one I know has even heard of it.

Does everyone you know live in a cave? Seriously, what gamer hasn't heard of Titanfall? It's not going to matter that it's a new IP or on PC too. Titanfall will be the biggest console seller since that's right, Halo: CE. It's going to move so many Xbox Ones and be that killer app that will put Microsoft over the top. Count on it.

I hear more about it here then any where else lol
I even told my friend who is getting a X1 to get it and he said what's TF?

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaayuuuuuum! So now, the one title that has received more E3 awards than any other game and is an exclusive to the Xbox One wont move many consoles because its a new title? LMAO. It's like one person just randomly thinking that Jesus had a twin sister and his buddies start chiming in:

"You know? Yeah.......yeah I think you're right! He looks like someone's brother too".

Whateves....lol.

You're right, it's exactly like if someone said Jesus had a sister.

Since it doesn't come in a blue box it's not going to do anything i guess. You know if Titanfall was exclusive to the PS4 we'd never hear the end of it. Sony would have shown it 4 years ago before the PS4 was even announced, hyping it to the moon. The PS fans would be talking it up as the PS brands Halo or exclusive Call of Duty game that will sell 10 mil in 24 hours. Xbox One exclusive though? It won't do anything.

Bottom line here is Titanfall is the flagship console game this generation. There's no denying the excitement for it. It's an Xbox One game not on PS4. People have to say it's coming to PC so it doesn't count because they know it's going to be huge. They used that argument last gen when the 360 had a bunch of games also on PC but not on PS3. It's really sad. These same people will turn around and argue that PC gaming is dead or doesn't matter.

The Xbox One's sales are much more impressive at this point given all the negative press, $500 price tag, and launching a week later in less countries than the PS4.

Sony has every advantage right now and they were barely able to squeeze out a 1.2 mil lead with supposed secret sauce superior hardware.
That is what I'm saying

I was making light of the discussion.

Lets be realistic here. Who doesnt know that Titanfall is going to sell a s*** ton of consoles? Thats a given--even with its 6v6, 12v12. We dont need to be rocket scientists to know this. But for some reason, now, its not going to sell a s*** ton of consoles because well, its a new IP and well, new IP's have it tough and dont sell as well as tried and true IP's. Face it; the last time we even heard of a shooter being this big of a deal was with the first Halo, and look how that turned out.

All Im saying is be rational.

I think TF will sell systems, I think Halo is going to sell more systems though.

TF is going to sell A LOT of consoles. And yes Halo will sell more. Microsoft is going to advertise this game until the cows come home. It WILL be a BIG game. Quote me on that.

The PS4 sold 4.2 million consoles and thats a milestone achievement. But the Xbox One is still selling on its own at the moment. Adding Titanfall in March, will be like a shot of adrenaline.

That's from GAF and a joke, they are making fun of him, i.e. the "fastest selling console on average" thing.
I guess it's funnier in context? Maybe we just have a higher standard for humor around here… :p

lol calm down I never said it wasn't, just stating my opinion that Halo will sell more consoles than TF.

And lol at 6v6 or 12v12 being an arguing point for why Titanfall won't be huge. Cause Resistance 2's ground breaking 60 man multiplayer pushed PS3 sales through the roof back in the day right? Only possible with the power of the cell!

A great game is a great game. I seem to remember Gears of War being 4v4 and being the flagship title early on in the 360's life cycle that clearly sold a ton of consoles.

I am not interested in this console war stuff. I would like more vocational guidance. I would also like to hear more about Jesus's sister.
