I'd say overall, the PC camp in PC forums are most reliable. I would have to concur with this. Even though I think the PS4 looks to be a great console. The Sony fanbase is such a turn off. Although, screaming 12 year olds on xbox Live aren't much better. This generation of consoles has turned me back to PC gaming. Although, I will be getting an X1 sometime this year.

I fully expect overall, there will be better games on XBOX one, by a distance as well, at least in 2014 (as long as you do not take into account of maybe slightly visually "inferior" version of some 3rd party games)

The quality of the games could be a deciding factor for sales, post launch now in 2014. Quality of games available is the main reason I bought 360 in the first place. Saw Gears 1 & its rave reviews, & went out to buy 360.

Funny thing is, its the subtle advertising of gears in Die Hard 4 that made me look into Gears reviews.

So people should buy an X1 to play the 6.0 Ryse (5.8 user reviews)? That makes sense. lol
I haven't bought any PS4 exclusives yet but am enjoying AC4, Resogun, and other multi plats.

The only thing the fanboys from Sony have done for me is make me consider not getting a ps4. I was going to get one with infamous but the bad will from the parade rainers here all the way up to that arrogant executive makes me not want to support the company.
I have a ps3 and it got less play then my Xbox. Ratchet and clank and uncharted were my tipping point but I'm not so sure anymore.

Which is also why I am not compelled to get a XBOX one. But Forza & KI have me considered. I will get them, when I get my xbox one.

As for Multi plats, most, if not all are available on current gen. Not saying you can't enjoy them on next gen with better visual, but its not very strong reason to get it, for me anyway.

What's not to get? Sony had more consoles overall. That's the point of that post along with nobody knows if the gap will widen or leases because the Xbox One is only in half of the countries that the PlayStation 4 is in.

Well I bought it for future exclusives the awesome PS Plus titles and multiplats, if a new Crackdown or Shadow Complex releases for the X1 I'll have to buy one of those as well.
 
Isn't Ps4 already beating xb1 in the US and in UK? you think xb1 is going to magically win in other territories when it can't even win at home? I find that hard to believe. It's obvious that ps4 is the more popular system. It was obvious before they launched and it's obvious now. Why try to argue it? Better off arguing about the games.

What does any of this have to do with Xbox One selling over 3 million units? I think it is great news for gamers.

As for sony having better games than microsoft at the moment? Uh no.

How do we know Sony had or produced more consoles, I see a lot of Xbox Ones sitting at my local Best Buy but no PS4s. How many sales is Sony losing out on or yet to make because they cannot meet demand in America yet?

And how many sales were even made in these other 32 countries? Was it only 100k or 200k combined? Would the Xbox One even sell in these other countries?

We can always play the 'IF' game when it comes to sales. I can think of several ways how the PS4 could have better sales numbers and same with the Xbox One. They are what they are though.
 
Tbh I'm surprised to see plainview taking this stance in this argument.

Glad i am not the kind of person who counts on others to make my decisions for me or else i might not have bought Ryse and found that it was a pretty good game. Also always funny watching people cite of all things Metacritic. DmC: Devil May Cry got a high metacritic score. ...Yeah.

Yeah, when i bought my PS3 slim i had to choose between KZ2 and MGS4. I went with Killzone which i ended up trading in a few days later and going back to Halo 3/COD4. After all the hype it turned out to be the poster child for the term "graphics aren't everything". I am sure the PS4 will have more than enough great titles to justify a purchase down the road( starting with Second Son most likely) but right now i see no real reason to own one.

No stance at all. Both consoles were sold out last year. Sony sold more worldwide hence they had more consoles available. When March comes around we'll have a better picture of the demand of each console. I fully expect Sony to continue to lead this console generation for the foreseeable future. I don't think it will be a massive lead, or continue to grow exponentially, but they'll be leading no doubt. I only see Microsoft gaining up when Halo starts to gain momentum and release. While I think Titanfall will sell very well I don't see it being a system seller because it's a new IP.

Best 5.8 game I've ever played with plenty of replayability IMO.
IMO my opinion matters most to me.
 
Sony fans only play numbers - metacritic scores, specs, sales

I have played the heck out of every XB1 games I bought including Ryse and loved it.

How do you explain the praise it was getting on Gaf then, you know from people that actually played it? I mean Killzone didn't exactly set the world on fire either. In fact it's pretty damned Mediocre by most standards according to reviews. That stop you from playing it? I mean it stopped a lot of other gamers from playing it according to the low population online but it didn't stop you right? which is the point. Also again according to metacritic. DmC: Devil May Cry is one of the best games in the series. So yeah lol, metacritic.
