Everything is hearsay nobody has proven any claim but they believe their position is truth fact on their hunch so early in the sales game.
Following said mod's history in the xbox section months ago when the filth rolled in he left it unchecked and on occasion fuelled the BS and trolling. Fortunately it has gotten better because of the other mods not anything he did. He wrought what he sowed with regards to how some respond to him. If you didn't notice he is no fan of anything xbox and IMO the worst @ his position here. So what if he is called out by Mcmasters for his claims based on "common sense" rip? It will happen with a small number of purchases by parents for children if 1 wasn't sold out.
IMO Common sense shows overwhelmingly people will wait for what they'd rather have with larger purchases. If I wanted an xb1 to play halo5 I won't pick out a ps4 because the xb1 is sold out. If you want a dodge ram you won't buy a f150 because the ram wasn't available.

Because I dont troll threads. Because I dont bash the PS4. And I dont go into PS4 forums and post negative crap. Im a member of this forum but that does not obligate me to particularly like any particular mod. I expressed my opinion and that was the end of it. You just dont agree with my opinion and thats fine. I disliked ketto back on TXB because I was pro xb as well. He rags on people on the ps side as well though.
Hopefully this will get back on track and the mods will do something about the trolls, I am honestly done with them, they are ruining the site for me.
On topic great job Microsoft! I honestly thought it would be a little bit lower due to the continuing recession. I cant wait to see the sales once they release in all markets. I think flooding a select few has helped with there always being plenty of stock!

I'm pro console and like my ps3 and my 360. I've never slammed any platform and will own both again. Why should I make fun of xb1 or ps4? Where is the logic there? I should high five Vall and make fun of MS with every post? Maybe I should go make fun of the wiiU and PC guys while I'm at it? How am I defending "it" by enjoying the games?

While I think the new IP plays a part in it I think the fact that it's also coming to 360 and PC will play an even bigger roll when it comes to people maybe holding off on buying a $500 machine since they'll have other options to play it.

The whole reason I brought it up is because I've seen others including me get banned for far less and yet he always seems untouched.
Every mod here is either getting a PlayStation 4, or already has one, and I don't think any have an Xbox One or have the plan to purchase one. Li Tan may be getting an Xbox One, not sure. So there really can't be a bias. If anything, the bias would be the other way. I believe the time you were banned was because two of your warnings lasted longer than a week by accident, and when you reach three simultaneous warnings, you automatically get a three day ban. I lifted that ban when I saw it had happened if I remembered correctly. Thus far there have been more warnings and bans handed out to 'Xbox fans,' than 'Sony fans,' regardless of the ratio of member preferences on this site.

I had consolewarz on my case for a LONG time. That guy would follow me to every thread after I ousted him as a diehard PSfanboy.
He was even equating me to calling him racial slurs and 'disgusting language' LMAO! Even tried to get me banned.
Calling me a Xbox fanboy even though I don't even own an XB1 and actually plan on getting a PS4 first.
Just comes with the territory. Some people just want to fling s*** on others and like flies will flock to that person to relish in it.
Everybody will develop conflicts with certain people, over time. It's inevitable in any group.
However, I think we need to steer back on topic (sales numbers). Talking about personalities (negative/accusatory talk) probably isn't going to end well.
Do we have NPD numbers yet? When do those come out?

Ok, another week and a half. And that will be for December, I guess.
Are console sales numbers available from NPD data? It's been a while since I paid attention. Do both MS and Sony release data, or is it only MS? How about Nintendo?

can already see the demand dying for the X1. you can go to nearly any brick and motor here in So Cal and pick one up no problems.
NPD predictions? I expect nearly equal sales for X1 and PS4. I think MS concentrated heavily on supplying the US, while Sony was spread thinner, so that ought to counteract what I'd expect the normal ratio to be (4 to 3, give or take).
I'm waiting for a couple of years for the libraries to mature and prices to drop. I'll be right there in the middle of the console sales bell curve in 2015-16 with all the casuals.
I'm exactly the kind of voiceless mainstream consumer people here debate about.
I would go into a shop to get a console A then walk off with an B because they were sold out, enjoy my console B and never think again about getting a console A. I wouldn't think about the resolution or the exclusives I'm missing.
All said, maybe I'll just get a Wii U. It's a really attractive purchase right now, and coming from someone who was really down on it when it came out.
