Yeah, you can clearly see by some of the r******d game balancing in BF4 that "they won't give up until BF4 is number one." Seriously, they really took a lot of skill out of some of the game.

I don't know what that says, but I am told:

PlayStation 4: Over 100k for the first 2 weeks

Xbox One: 50k for the first 3 weeks

Admit zee PS4 won, or I will taunt you a second time.

Quite a few smaller markets outside NA and UK have favored Sony since PS2. So not a big surprise.

Only question is how much supply constraints effected those sales.

Breakdown from what I can interpret from the article.

Spain
PS4: >80k
XB1: 25k

UK
PS4: >185k
XB1: 140k

Western Europe
PS4: >500k
XB1: a bit less than 300k

So... The PS4 beating the X1 in sales by the same margins it has for the last 5 years and failing to dominate the market means that Sony is still doomed because they never made any money with these types of ratios in past.

The PS4 can mildly outsell the X1 all it wants, it doesn't doesn't change the fact that Sony has become basically insolvent in that reality.

The PS4 needed to dominate, it hasn't and it wont. Case closed.

It's selling out, same as XB1. No is "dominating". We won't know who dominates until supply exceeds demands, and then we see who is demanded the most.

I'm not sure which is less believable - your post or that you actually believe that.

Talk about jumping the gun, lol.

Well lets start with the FACT that Sony lost money failing to dominate last gen. That Sony lost money the entire gen by mildly outselling Microsoft. Whats changed? Ill tell you. Nothing.

Sony is doomed. Deal with it.

What gun has been jumped here??? None, Sony lost money last gen selling these exact same numbers of consoles.... Sony simple will cease to exist selling these exact same numbers this gen.

Wow you're right they should just pull out of Europe now while they still can.

The PS4 "NEEDED" to dominate? Needed as in this new gen is already over?

This guy just dreamcasted the PS4 right at the beginning of its life.

Comedy gold!

Those aren't real numbers. The figures for the UK are too low for both by a large margin.

This kind of like his conclusion that the PS4 would never be able to do a zombie game because it didn't have a zombie game at launch, and since zombies are really popular and there is no zombie game at launch that must mean the PS4 hardware can't do a game with lots of zombies onscreen at one time. Therefore that must mean the Xbox One is more powerful. Because it has a zombie game.

:meh:

If you think I'm kidding, see for yourself, 5th post down, look for the poster with the word "banned" after his name: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:TG7hHsbkCkcJ:forum.teamxbox.com/showthread.php?p=14058095 &cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&client=safari

Wow at XboxNeo... OK, Sony should just pull out of console business.....LOL

The "Sony is already doomed" gun. Last I read, Sony was making ~$20 / console and wasn't there an article where they said PS4 is leading in both hardware and software sales?

lol if it's the thread he started in the GXD I think I was the only one to reply to him.

Thanks for providing the Elle-oh-Elle moment.

That guy sure is something.

France has a larger population than the U.K., so it's not that small. I'm interested to see how both do in Liechtenstein, now that's a small market not many know about.

No, he doesn't.

A direct quote from TXB:
"I am either the second or third biggest troll on the internet."

One of his first posts at TXB, he was bragging about being responsible for the "But can it run Crysis?" meme.

That explains a lot.
