I was at my local Gamestop (in Germany) & the dude said no PS5 & Xbox SeX (SeS is available readily) until end of year. Doesn't allow even preorder.

But now I have gamepass, I am not sure I want a PS5 anymore, or maybe getting XBoX SeX is better. In any case I will contimue to play on my PC, & iusing my PS4 as Video player for prime/Netflix & bluray.

I am not going to agree or disagree because I don't know the answer. What I do know is that Xbox isn't selling s*** in Japan, and they won't sell s*** in Japan. Japan has gone mobile. The only way I can see MS making strides in Japan is with xCloud on iOS and Android and have some exclusive Japanese friendly games that they can stream to their phones or tablets. Or to Switch. Then it will be about software numbers. I am not sure why they even release an Xbox console there.

It looks that way at least. The average joe isn't going to know about sales numbers of Xbox in Japan so when they see the headline, they probably think "oh, Xbox is growing here". Maybe a way to hopefully promote more console sales there too.

Not good IMO. I personally wanted a digital PS5 when I got mine, but as you know you take what you can get for launch, if you can even get in. If I ordered a digital only PS5 today and they sent me a disc, I would be pissed (Xbox or PS or Nintendo). I prefer the appearance of the PS5 diskless.

I should say, good for some, and not good for others. Though I am sure I fall into the minority wanting the diskless.

LOVED Automata. Couldn't get enough. Replicante is a bit different and taking some getting used to. The whole story thing with the kid is a little annoying, but the actual combat is great.
