With MS stating that this is their best selling Xbox to date, and the Xbox One sold 10 million in one year, it's looking like it must be 10.1> million.

This was from MS regarding selling 10 million Xbox One console in one year:

When was the last time they said that this was their best selling Xbox to date ? Context important here 🤔

So over 8 million and less than a month ago.

Sell in is sold to retailers not customers and we've seen pics from retailers in different parts of the world where they have Series S consoles sitting on shelves. I'm sure there aren't 1.3-1.8 million of them sitting on shelves but these are all just estimates so there is no exact number.

SAME.

The difference between opening a new boxed game vs just downloading can never be replaced.
That's only in parts of Europe, clearly in NA digital game sales are higher than physical. Someone on another forum was saying that physical games are cheaper where they live than they are on PSN so that may have a lot to do with it as well.

That's true, you can usually get a better offers for physical copies in Germany, at least where I live. But being mostly a PC gamer, Physical options for PC games isn't a lot.

And that new plastic smell when you remove the plastic oh and when you open it too
I also like reading the manuals. Used to do it taking bus/train in my student years. Thats was when devs actually bother with thick manuals.
