Picked up this phone today and I had no idea how i would react with the phone because I have always been a nexus user. My biggest fear was it was not stock Android and the touchwiz was going to make be regret it.

After playing with the phone and I was able to remove apps which was shocking (sprint). This phone is the best phone I have ever had in my hand.

Now I can see why its so popular. I have the Onyx black and its sexy as hell!

Going to pick mine up today too, and 1 for the wifey. Both Onyx black...I'm in the club! :bang:

What is the advantage of the S7 edge vs the standard S7?
Well the biggest is the battery. Its freaking awesome rocking at 3600 Amp. This beast can be a true road warrior.

They are some edge features that i like but its a preference. Also its a 5.5 inch screen.

Got my S7 Edge yesterday with the free Gear VR and was up half the night playing with it. Most bad ass phone ever. Tons of improvements.

The Edge is about an inch longer than the regular but not wider. The rounded extra screen does give a slightly larger view and the sides provide a sidebar tab to give easy access to favorite apps with a swipe. Not sure if there are any extras beyond that.

I picked my Edge 7 up on the 3rd of the month, was kinda cool that carriers actually released this thing early for pre orders. So far I'm really happy with it. I had a note 4 and the thing was just a bit too big, the Edge 7 while only having a slightly smaller screen feels much smaller in the hand overall and is a lot easier to hold, it's not as wide as the Note 4 because of the curved edges on the screen. I'd easily recommend this phone to anyone that's in the market for a new one.

I regret switching back to iPhone.

My 6+ is nice. But the whole Apple ecosystem is kind of blah. I forgot how much I hate iTunes too.

A few of the staff members at the two Sprint stores near my house told me that most people that they've talked to regret leaving Android for iOS but people that leave iOS for Android are usually happy with the decision. I've owned and ipod touch but never an iphone, honestly I just don't have any interest in getting one.

Damn the G5 is nice and that slide out bottom s*** could be a game changer.

S7 is sick, especially the edge.

I upgraded from an S2 to a G4 last year and it was a massive upgrade (obviously, but not so obvious to me until I did it). The G4 is an incredible phone, the leather curved back is awesome and so comfortable. Camera is amazing and being able to use microSD is a big deal for me. Battery life is ridiculous (like 3 days with regular usage)

But the biggest difference between the Samsung and the LG for me is the lack of forced bloatware with the LG. There is hardly any of that s*** compared to the Samsung.

Crazy how amazing these phones are now!

well it depends on the carrier. Sprint I have only one that I cant remove and everything else is gone and that's not using any fancy software.

Went with this for my upgrade. I'll keep my Lumia for Music and a few things but MS need to really step up their game even if it means they move to android..

Got a pop up saying my battery had a virus and I should dl a app to fix it...

I had actually found myself on Gaf

Definitely no adults there!

We got our s7 edges last week and so far I'm loving it. I had the S3, and my wife had been on the S4, as we're not really into needing to upgrade every six months, but it's certainly a huge step up. :)

You mean 3600 milliamps. 3600 amps would be the power of like three lightning strikes.

Bit funny seeing a tv ad for this talking about how much quality control testing Samsung do with their devices.....
