I know the focus next gen has been on SSD and terraflops but I'm more excited with how games are going to leverage existing technologies and grow from that. Can't wait to see if next gen games utilize HDR 10+ or Dolby Vision as their hdr format. Or will games be mastered with native 7.1 uncompressed audio or DTS-MA/Dolby TrueHD/Dolby Atmos for sound. OR if games will utilize Radeon Image Sharpening on consoles. Going to be an exciting time nonetheless.

I'm quite excited for sound too, I know it's been quite under utilized in the past and not really a big focus, but if we get games sounding as amazing as Metro and Battlefield all the time, I'll be happy.

wasn’t trying to take a jab, was meant at the Kinect and it’s facial recognition to sign in. But yeah, was just told by my brother that you can use Face ID to purchase apps
Oh no, I took it as a joke. I just wasn’t sure if I was making my point clear enough with my fist post.

I'm just going to say that the backwards compatibility and enhancements on the XsX is absolutely a huge point in MS favor. The fact that you can play Xbox games all the way back to OG Xbox AND with numerous graphical enhancements cannot be understated.
As I said in another thread the inclusion of that option is a positive rather than the exclusion of that option.

Which bring up this. They not only removed the PS4 BC message, but the original message said "supported" PS4 titles.:

That is interesting.
Again before anybody comes in here with 'Oh well nobody plays old games anymore so who cares' verbiage let me remind you again.

Having the OPTION to play older generational games on a console that will cost ~$500.00 USD gives you more bang for your buck as opposed to NOT having the option. You can't spin it as a negative or a non sequitur. The option exists and improves upon the prior software as well in meaningful ways.
It's another notch to have in what your console gives consumers and your commitment to supporting legacy software.
