Lol Game Pass is the future, Sony won't survive without an alternative. Nintendo will survive because of their stellar exclusives though

MS went the stop sharing sales, not having anymore exclusives and making GP route after conceding this generation and none of those things has helped them this generation.

Here is to the next generation.

A prediction from me..
Next gen if XSX loses badly...
GP will be offered to Sony's PS.
That is beyond hysterical!

I could see Gamepass ON PlayStation, but that would still mean that Xbox is IN the game. They are already fact, LEADING the game for streaming, and that's over Sony, and that's over Google. You clearly have no idea what you are even talking about.

Might not even be a next gen after XSX. If that is case I could see Playstation exclusives on gamepass.

Bit of an odd thing to say.
Not if you consider subscription services being the future of gaming consumption. The "platform" is very clearly moving away from a set piece of hardware. I'm sure that this is disappointing for some gamers to hear. Notice the "Only on PlayStation" being removed from PS5 game boxes? The subscription model BECOMES the platform in the near future. The writing is on the wall. In the meantime the removal just means coming to PC at some point. You can choose to not believe this future, but let's talk again in 5 years and see where this is in fact going.

They will get it together though. It just takes restructuring, and Sony is naturally a hardware company, so they were behind (or rather, early, with PSNow). This is why they switched over to Azure. Watch them use PS5 blades or something similar to how Gamepass is doing it.

Only if you're ignoring facts.

I meant odd that he thinks Nintendo could survive but not Sony.

Which isn't something you know. Just BS you pulled out your ass.
I'd also argue that GP is part of the reason MS' reputation is on the rebound after the Xbox One's disastrous launch. MS got taught a valuable lesson, imo. They were flying high for a while with 360...

I think that the acquisition of so much talent is a major factor, and yet that is also because Gamepass was driving this new business model, which requires such a huge investment.

That is what you get for reading into data. It still boggles my mind. All these Xbox employees who claim to be gamers and nobody said, "Hey! Don, that is really f***ing stupid."

Only because a non-gamer was in charge. Who was going to call him out? Spencer was below him, and the other MS execs aren't gamers either.

Matt Booty just confirmed Xbox consoles are here to stay, and Phil said it a few months ago.
I am pumped for 10th gen PS and Xbox.

They are behind on the service because they don't have an incentive to push it like Microsoft because their games are so successful. You are going to see them go all in on their own long before they let gamepass on PS.

Nahhh losing the TV TV TV! Removing Kinect, having Phil as a spokesperson, releasing Xbox X and the BC are what has earned them respect.

That is just bulls***.
In Sweden, at the bigger companies, that's definitely how it works. Perhaps the right hand men could say something if the director asks them honestly, but otherwise that's pretty much how it goes.

It's different in smaller business though, I worked retail for several years and I could say pretty much whatever I thought most of the time.

I thought this was an interesting demonstration of the benefits of DLSS, or as MS calls it MLAA. Interesting times ahead, and I bet this is why MS is pushing frame-rate talk.

DLSS is an absolute game-changer on PC.
I love it.

Though the implementation needs to be good...(I'm looking at you Metro: Exodus)
