Also had a other question. As long I'm signed into my profile when I purchase a game digital on my friends console I own the game right or does he since I bought on his home console? Will I'll be able to play offline if I decided to make my console my home console.
That was on the 360. On the XB1 where you buy it is irrelevant, it's what console is set as your Home Xbox that matters.

And no you won't be able to play your games offline. Any games that you buy can be played offline by your Home Xbox, which you would be setting as your friends console. You can only play your games when you're connected to Xbox Live.

I think as long as you make your console your "home" one, then you will be able to.

They need to bring back that family share plan already. Watch the Xbox One fly off the shelves after that.

Seems XBox is having some friends issue. Anyone else? Destiny was feeling a bit lonely, no one was logged in. Then noticed my friends list is empty too.

Check xbox.com and there seems to be an issue.

Update:
Bungie is aware of it too.

Is this truly about preloading? Cause it is a bit confusing to me. It talks about preordering and preloading...if it's indeed the latter, that would be damn cool. Let's say it's only one more month for Evolve to come out and you can then download it and play it on release day.

Preordering and preloading are both two completely different things....correct? In the tweet he only asks about preorder. So is Gamingeverything now just making thins up?

I can't sign into live atm. I just came home and tried playing Destiny but the Tower was empty and only 4 friends online on my list. I switched to USF4 and now I can't sign into Live. Xbox Live is down?

Bungie stress tested the network under the guise of a Destiny community event, seemed to work.

Did anybody notice the logo on Xbox one when it loads? It have now 3 little circles at the bottom under the Xbox one.

Mass Effect 4 details from that nameless site lol (GAF)

Update 2:

Mako Video:

---

Via tweets about the panel:
https://twitter.com/NerdAppropriate
https://twitter.com/andrearene/

I'm tried to put non-obvious details/newer stuff near the top of the list.

Details:
-The Mako is back, they showed video of it, and there are images of it below. It's apparently quite fast now.
-"Building a game about exploring places, so you need a vehicle for that "
-"We learned some things about vehicle frustration"
-They showed off armor renders, viewable below
-"Sounds like the timeline of [HASHTAG]#MassEffect[/HASHTAG] will be during Shepard's lifetime but won't involve Shepard...hard to tell @GambleMike being cagey!" [Note: Two other tweeters said it sounds like it takes place in another galaxy, though that's not necessarily mutually exclusive with this.]
-"Team reiterates that it is not Shepard's story and that this story one is brand new."
-"no timeline was announced at the panel. Some hints were made but I have to re-listen to the audio."
-"You will see a bit of old with the new (old characters MAY appear) "
-"Competition is critical but cooperation is bigger for us" @GambleMike speaking on multiplayer in [HASHTAG]#MassEffect[/HASHTAG] / "cooperative MP is bigger for us (than competitive)"
-"Spiritual successor" vibe for the next
-"It's ingrained in us to give players as much choice as possible" - @GambleMike [HASHTAG]#MassEffect[/HASHTAG]
-"The animation team is now doing stuff we couldn't even dream about before" speaking on Frostbite 3 for [HASHTAG]#MassEffect[/HASHTAG]
-"it's not called ME 4 damn it! " [I'm going to keep calling it that until they give it a name.]
-No announcements on player race choice of composers when asked
-The internet kept dying for the people livetweeting so there are more details that aren't here
-"I got video of the new [HASHTAG]#MassEffect[/HASHTAG] Mako in action"

Update:

https://twitter.com/lizwrites/with_replies

-"Seems strongly implied that new Mass Effect will be set in totally different galaxy, but will contain familiar elements. [HASHTAG]#SDCC[/HASHTAG]"
-"Not playing as Shepherd, and Shepherd is not important to story - new uncharted areas. [HASHTAG]#SDCC[/HASHTAG]"
-"Mako is back in Mass Effect! More agile, no cannon. [HASHTAG]#SDCC[/HASHTAG]"
-"New Mass Effect is focused on exploration of planets, Mako is meant to be fast travel on them. [HASHTAG]#SDCC[/HASHTAG]"
-[Note]: Nerd Appropriate (one of the original tweeters) also said it sounded like another galaxy but they need to double check their audio recording.

So I thought I'd give All Streets United a go. I'm actually pissed I have to wait for the final episode and I dont watch soccer. Quality entertainment to be had there. Too, much too bad Microsoft decided not to go with Xbox Originals. If ESU was a taste of what was to come, it only could've gotten better.

I posted this in the dashboard update thread, but think it needs to be placed here too to get more eyes. If anyone feels so the inclination, feel free to make a thread for it.

Guys, go download the VoiceStudio app and use your weird as hell accents on this, hopefully it will get things improved for you guys that are having issues with Kinect not picking up commands at an acceptable rate.

PS. There are achievements, lol.

I just completed one run-through on the app and it seems from some of the voice phrases they sampled that they are working on natural language commands. Just my guess.

You can never be sure with these kind of things, but do i see the Xbox One there and a wireless, not wired controller? Could mean its indeed directly from X1...

We thought the same with many other games in the past though....so we'll see.

Most demo units I think are run on PC, though it could be tune for a particular console hardware limitation. The main reason is not to cheat, or mislead, but its extra efforts to have it port to console.

Xbox Live Games with Gold for August 2014
For the month of August, Xbox Live Gold members can look forward to two new free games on both Xbox One and Xbox 360. Crimson Dragon and Strike Suit Zero will become free downloads on August 1st, replacing current Xbox One Games with Gold titles Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood. Now is a good time download those two if you haven’t already.

Even though I haven't used my 360 in a while, I'll be sure to get Dishonored as well.

I was hoping it would be Crimson Dragon.

It looks kind of alright and I know I would play it, but the word of mouth on that game kept me from buying it at any price.

D
Motorcross Madness and Dishonored are free starting august 16 for the 360. I always thought about buying Dishonored..now, I won't have to. :)

Dishonored is a really cool game.

Good month for gwg. I'm interested in both those titles. I was a big Panzer Dragoon fan.

Same here. I played it at one of those X1 events before launch and just couldn't get into it. I've always loved Panzer Dragoon, so it will be nice to give it another shot. I'm also very interested in trying out Strike Suit Zero, too!

Good games for both platforms, live subscription pays for itself. I gotta get a external hard drive.

It really does. I was thinking about that earlier. If MS continues to give 2 games a month, and we'll low ball it and say these are $10 games, and let's say 3 months out of the year are complete duds: That's still a $180 value. Even only 1 game a month at $10 is still $90.

Yup, for sure. I can't even believe all the fuss over paying for online play looking back at last gen and where we are now. Between all the deals you can find on Live subs and Games With Gold and games just getting cheap over time. What's the big deal? Especially now that you have to pay to play online on the other console as well.

Yup. I think I called Crimson as a freebie way back! That Strike Suit shooter looks fun too.

Yeah. Regular priced games have been the same $60-ish for ages. Seems like the one industry where prices never go up, yet people still complain. Actually, going way back to the cartridge days, Genesis/SNES games were actually $60-70 in the US and here in Canada (due to lousy exchange rates) $70-90. Some of the big games that were 16 meg or so were $90+. And N64 games were around $90-100 here. Phantasy Star 2 and Sword of Vermillion were $120 cdn due to that uber expensive "battery back up".
