For maximum damage, we need to see an AAA title @ 1080p 60FPS on X1 and 900p @ 60FPS on the 4. I'd love to see this just once, just for all the meltdowns. Gaf and VaLL would implode on themselves and CNN, NBC, FOX NEWS would have to cover the story, it would be so epic!

if Project Cars on the ONE used the cloud to make it superior to the PS4 version, sweet short controller battery life! There would be mass hysteria!!

Where is Gears of War? I feel the need to chainsaw someone. I know MSFT recently secured the IP but damn I'm starving for info on the next entry. They better include Horde Mode and expand on what was done already.

I'm sure Black Tusk is hard at work on Gears of War 4 and will give us something truly epic. It's my most anticipated game of all time.

The XBoss is a humble guy.
:p

Not for me. I remember what they said about Watch Dogs and boy did it disappoint me immensely. These guys love to overpromise and sadly...underdeliver.
That was Watchdogs though. The first attempt at a new IP. This is AC.

Any first party game like Halo or Gears will get the treatment from Microsoft. I have no doubts both titles will use Azure/Cloud servers, rumble triggers etc. Long time to wait but they'll be worth it.

He also mentions paying for Azure once your game is released

Which contradicts @Flynn telling us it was entirely free...
I always took it that it was very cheap. MS always said it was cheaper to rent their Dedicated Servers than mainstain your own Database Servers.

I guess saying it's free is also true to the point as they don't pay anything untill they start turning a profit which is a great incentive for indies and everyone else.

Just got an email from EA inviting me to join the Fifa 15 beta on X1 starting August 21st.
I'm not Subscibed to EA Access either so it's git nothing to do with that.

Found this new partnership with YoYo games and MS with Gamemaker? Not sure that it is but here's the link:

http://yoyogames.com/news/236

Today at the Game Developers Conference Europe, YoYo Games announces GameMaker: Studio support for Xbox One, enhanced support for current Microsoft platforms including Windows RT, Windows 8.1, and Windows Phone 8.1, as well as support for future operating system releases. The GameMaker: Studio export for Xbox One will be available in the fourth quarter of 2014 to members of Microsoft’s licensed Xbox developer programs, including ID@Xbox.

“This is a great day for GameMaker: Studio developers,” said Sandy Duncan, Chief Executive Officer at YoYo Games. “We’re absolutely thrilled to strengthen our partnership with Microsoft and to give our community the ability to publish to Xbox One for the first time. We’re especially excited that this agreement will bring continued and future support for all Microsoft platforms.”

Square Enix blog have been keeping a keen eye on your opinions and responding to them where possible. But what if we now announced an entirely new IP in the official Square Enix family? What if this title was wholly different to anything we have ever attempted before, both in gameplay and narrative? What if this title was released digitally as regular episodic content, with each new chapter building and evolving based on the choices you made in previous episodes? What if we now gave all of this a name: Life is Strange?

Life is Strange is set to be released on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC and is being played by journalists at gamescom this week

New features coming to xbox :-)

  • New “Friends” section – the new Friends section has been available for a few early access Preview members and we’re expanding it to everyone enrolled in the Preview program. The new Friends section enables users to see at a glance what’s going on with their friends. They can stay up-to-date with their current activities, the most popular games their friends are playing, and a Gamerscore leaderboard to see who has improved their Gamerscore over the last 30 days.
  • Snap Center – Some of gamers’ favorite features in the Xbox 360 guide, are coming to Xbox One in a way that’s now truly be side-by-side with games. Messages, friends, parties, and achievements will all be available in the new Snap Center, providing a seamless way to switch back and forth without having to leave a game.
  • Threaded Messages – keeping gamers in their games while they multitask has been a huge focus. The new Messages app features threaded messages with the full conversation history – including embedded links to Game DVR clips – that can be viewed without interrupting gameplay.
  • Media Player – a new app will be available soon that enables users to play media files from either an attached USB device or from a network connected home media server that supports DLNA protocols. The preview version of the Media Player app will initially only support USB devices, with DLNA support coming soon. Xbox One will support more formats than Xbox 360, including support for dozens of new file formats like mpeg 2 TS, animated gifs and mkv which will be added by the end of the year. See below for additional file formats.
  • Xbox One Digital TV Tuner –announced last week, this new accessory will enter a limited preview program in Europe (UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain), in advance of its retail launch beginning in October.
  • Stream TV to SmartGlass – launching first in markets receiving the Xbox Digital TV Tuner, Xbox One owners will be able to stream their TV across their home network to their smartphones and tablets using the Xbox SmartGlass app. They can also pause, play and rewind as well as change channels, without interrupting gameplay on the Xbox One. This will work for SmartGlass apps on Windows, iOS, and Android.
  • Boot to TV – Now Xbox One owners will be able to set their console to boot directly to television when coming out of connected standby.
  • Live TV mini guide – for markets where OneGuide is available, a new mini guide on the bottom of the screen will display details about the TV content that is currently playing. Users can quickly change channels and see what’s on other channels, while still watching TV.
  • Country Expansion – we’re doing a lot of work on the backend to prepare for Xbox One to launch in 29 new markets
    in the coming weeks.

Dang, the updates to the X1 they keep adding are f***ing insane.

That FIFA 15 bundle is epic. FIFA 15 for free :surprise: I likely would have had my X1 before then, but with this bundle I am waiting till the September 25.
