I got curious last night about the different shaders you can acquire in Destiny. So I did a search and what I found kind of shocked me. It turns out that there are ALOT of shaders(if the source is accurate). Check this out.

Yeah, didn't think there was that many. I keep getting repeats and the store always has the same ones.

If they have that many shades, why doesn't the dumb shader merchant ever have anything besides the same 4 shares? I've put over 50 hours in this game and I only have 7 or 8 shaders and three of them are a purple variant.

Is it wrong that I preordered Call of Duty on amazon just to get the Blacksmith shader and then I will return the game unopened.

Wait what, you can do that?

I don't see why not, it says on the pre-order page on amazon that you will be sent the code for the shader within two days of call of duty shipping, I don't think they would have any way of taking the shader code back after I use it and it doesn't really cost them anything it's just a code. The code is selling for around twenty bucks or more on ebay, I would never pay for it but I will work the system lol

Is the preorder bonus US only? Where do you see this?

I take it the shader codes are unique one time use codes?

That is the way I understand it. I have been looking for a black shader and nobody knows how to get the superblack one, blacksmith looks pretty cool so I figured I would give it a shot.

Got a new shader last night called Refraction Melt. Its like a flat purple color.

I think that Dead Orbit has the black shaders.

Got the Beowulf shader after a Crucible match. It doesn’t look that good on my Warlock. But I’ll save it for a new class.

Honestly, these things are just about the only reason I play Destiny anymore. It's quite the addiction! lol

Does anyone know if some shaders are exclusive to Crucible rewards? I hope not, because I still can't complete a round without getting Bee errors.
